good phone but wish i could customize a sound (incoming text msg) for different senders. Can only customize ringtones which is good for those calling you but not so good if you want a specific sound for specific people who text you.

jfk, 17 Jan 2016The one thing a love about the M8s ( and HTC phones in gene... moreU r right mate, I'm using HTC One X nearlly 2,5 years, without none problems, and it still looks like new, but now I'm waiting new HTC M8s. So I think also that HTC is a good brand!

Hi Guys, I accept camera is not so good in auto mode. But, try the manual mode.. its just awesome. I clicked some amazing pics ... its clear and crisp.

X-Ray, 05 Dec 2015If you want at least a decent camera, don't buy it! Afte... moreI think u should buy a SLR camera if u want really good photos. I use my phone for calls, texts, email and whatnot. Yes the camera is a small issue but it's far from a deal breaker. reliable, easy UI, extremely robust, great speakers and screen and Looks/feels good. It does everything I want it to do and it didn't cost a small fortune either,that's what's important.

AnonD-480236, 24 Dec 2015I own the phone but I could never find any info about quick... moreNo, i just bought the quickcharger myself because HTC.com showed it as an accessory for the m8s. The m8s does have Qualcomm technologies but only snapdragon 615 and the quickcharger 2.0 only works only faster on snapdragon 800 and higher! The quickcharger does work but with the same speed as the original.

you just can`t compare it. Samsung = fake performance with the cheapest components inside, ovecloacked to the max, therefore it is very unstable, short life.
Guys, stop buying "brands" (like samsung, iphone).... A good investment is buying sommething that has best balance between quality/performance/PRICE.
Samsung = A expensive piece of *****
Iphone = Good device but way to expensive for what it offers....
Go for a Sony, HTC, even LG....

Ali099, 09 Jan 2016wow,... thats cool thank Jay :)The one thing a love about the M8s ( and HTC phones in general) is its ability to take a serious hit. My 13 month old daughter has literally beat the crap out of it and apart from a few tiny dents it still works perfectly. my wife has a 3yr old M7 and it too should be in bits but it's not. My iPhone 5 was wreaked in a month and I got the M8s. Its a very underrated phone and so much better than what the 'expert reviewer's' write. Oh and its dead easy to use too.

Yesterday, update Android 6.0 version and HTC sense 7.0 Version for M8 . what I noticed , the phone application is not functioning properly . There are no notification/ringing (sound/vibrate) when in going call or messages application. Another thing is, all contacts in my phone gone even i had been syn with google account. Any suggestion to solve my problem?
