The top one is smaller than the one on the bottom. I haven't seen any stereo equipment or device having one speaker/grill smaller than the other. Htc may be the first to come with such a weird design. M7 has same size speaker grills by placing the sensors and front cam on either side of the top bezel and a speaker grill equal to the size of the one on the bottom in between.The other flaws in the design are the large bottom bezel with the htc logo and the square shaped rear camera

Put the on screen buttons onto the black bar just like the m7 and we have a nice phone. Same old crap design as the m8 no thanks.

I like the design of the phone. Chip set is good. I comes with android Lollipop. It has octa core with greater clock rate. The battery should be good as of HTC One M8. Display is enough for me. Single sim and external memory score more points. If it will be released with price around 720 US Dollar, I Will surely buy it.

For me the problem is put the 810 inside. Perhaps its too soon to say this but the first benchmarks make winner to s6's. The Camera is a big doubt too. First impressions show problems on the 20mpx camera but it could be Solved with software updates. It's soon, waiting for a complete review.

See its like sammy fans are happy with their own product and htc are happy with their.
By my point of view sammy is always taking some or other companies points and make their product available. If this is still on then i hope sammy will never bring nything new in the market.
Last year in s5 they copied waterproof and dust resisitent frm sony.
Then this year they copied apple pay by samsung pay app.
Htc should think abt it in diff way away from it.
I had expected that m9 will do have a waterproof n dust resistent but it failed my expectations. I had expexted that htc wil bring sumthng like for pay like apple but no it dint.
Htc had a good chance to beat sammy by m9 but dint. I think htc was quite busy for other product than m9 n dint provided much attention to m9. Still htc can gain market by only some of things to be improved like wireless chargng concept of sammy. They mainly focusd on battery but still i hope this time htc will minimize losses than atleast past years by m9.

I like your faith towards HTC but to me HTC did disappoint me by almost coming with the same design. I own M8 which will keep until it becomes flat dead. If you have m8 and m9 in your hands is like having the same phone. HTC won plethora of accolades the years for best design, they could have done better. Now, every company stick to same design and HTC is following the mass. Nonetheless, HTC for life no matter what

HTC one M9 will be much better than people are thinking due to its specs. It will probably be the best year for HTC in long time contrary to popular belief. HTC has very little market share now. In order to improve, it has to differentiate from the competition in a meaningful way that it has not done before. This has happened by accident. 1) The S6 has been designed to lure consistent Apple customers. It may well do that, but by leaving out the microSD card option and very likely inferior battery life compared to the HTC one M9, HTC will likely pick up a LOT of former Sammy customers, much more so than people think. Sammy has abandoned the desires of their loyal customers and lot of the S3, S4, and some S5 Galaxy owners are approaching the time to replace their aging devices. Many will demand microSD storage. Go take a look at the S6 forum. It is deal breaker for many. HTC, LG, and Sony will share in the spoils. Not only that, HTC did an excellent job of improving its device over the last version. It kept a great design, improved the camera and battery life. HTC cannot win against Apple. But it sure can capitalize on Sammy's error, and it will, in spades. Did Sammy make an error? Yes, the resolution increase is pointless at this screensize, it will just eat battery. They actually decreased the battery size. Who does that? Their new processor will not be able to make up for this difference, advantage M9. Notice that there are still no values posted for estimated talk time on the S6 specs, while HTC had it from the beginning. It may mean nothing as they could still be optimizing, but perhaps not. In summary, 2 things have significantly changed. 1)HTC has MicroSD card, Sammy does not. 2) HTC has bigger battery, probably longer run times in spite of Sammy's new processor. HTC will win this one in a most unexpected way, that even they could not have anticipated.

Sense is much much better than touch wiz... Its cleaner lighter faster smoother and the best UI out of all.. U get a simplified clean look of the OS.. Naturally battery life is better and so is performance

People who has problem on this and that on any mobile brand or OEM should make and design their own. Enterprise spend millions of dollars just to be ridiculed by some who seems to know everything.

64 bit processors are more battery efficient due to smaller sizes!
M9 has FHD screen and more battery capacity than S6 and M8 and is on 64bit SD810! This is the ingredient to have super awesome battery life!

AnonD-363367, 09 Mar 2015that bazel with or without htc logo has to stay....since th... moreIt's not the speakers that made the bottom bezel larger than the top bezel,of htc m7, m8, m9 and some other dual speaker phones in the one and desire series.It's because of poor design. But htc butterfly S and butterfly 2 dual speaker phones have equal sized bezels at the top and bottom and their speaker grills are also of equal size. While m7 has equal sized speaker grills, others like m8,e8, m9 etc have unequally sized speaker grills. Other brand dual speaker phones like sony z3 and moto g2 also have equal sized top and bottom bezels and speaker grills. In m7 the sensors are on one side and front cam on the other side of the top bezel so there is enough space to fit a speaker grill equal to the size of the speaker grill on the bottom bezel, but in m8, e8 and m9 the sensors and front cam are on the same side so they had to fit a small speaker grill on the top bezel. Htc is really going backwards in design.If m9 had equal sized bezels at the top and bottom with equal sized speaker grills and a round shaped rear camera instead of square shape, it would have been the best looking phone of any brand at present.
