I have owned a M9 unlocked (factory) since they came out new from HTC. All I can say is the phone and support have been very disappointing. I had to send the first phone in because of battery issues. It would not hold a charge. The replacement phone came not updated with current software so I spent a couple of hours updating the phone before I could restore the phone.
Recently I had to do a hard reset after installing a software update because of operating issues. The restore failed because the HTC software automatically overwrote the current backup. HTC sync does not have option to restore to a previous backup. (Very outdated). In addition to software issues the phone was taking 3 hours to charge. Now the phone software is requesting an additional software update 1 week after the hard reeset. When I called HTC support to determine what the current software release for an unlock phone was suppose to be he replied 3.7. I asked then why is 4.14 on my phone and 4.19 is being push to the phone. He look at his available data and could not provide me with a concrete answer. Just this is the only information available to him. When I ask if a second level support could assist, he replied no.
In summary I have a Samsung for work and have had no issues worth mentioning. I hanging up in HTC.

always problem without solution. htc sense stopped problem. ı have to spend so much time to find solution. but unfortunately ...tomorrow ı am going to buy another but no HTC...

I am also from Pakistan ..... and willing to buy HTC one m9 or Xperia Z3 ..... how is your phone.... is there any heating issue as it has snapdaragon 810 as you know the weather conditions of our country that summer is really hot so heating is really the main thing that bothers me..... apart from that I also need to know about its camera quality ( in daylight and low light) both in Photography and video department...... and how is its performance, does t lag, stutter and tell any thing else that has spoiled your experience.... your help will be highly appreciated.... :) Pakistan Zindabad...
