his phone is a crap.HTC should make speakers and heaters I feel that after using this phone my father toiled much to buy this phone for me I feel guilty for wasting his money. I want refund of his money.Thumbs down HTC.You forgot to make a smartphone after making good speakers and putting a heater inside this crap.

This phone is a total loss I strongly recommend not to buy it. HTC should make speakers and heaters rather than smart phones.Thumbs down HTC I want refund of my money my father toiled much to buy this phone for me I feel guilty for wasting his money

You will mostly regret after buying this phone its really frustrating even after update its heating problem is not fully solved its really not the phone you want unimpressive battery life the camera is good in good light but in low light its camera just sucks just totally sucks HTC should make speakers and water heaters rather than phones thumbs down HTC.

So, I bought this phone a week ago, and I'm pretty much satisfied.. The only down side of the phone for me is the battery life. It can last a day with normal usage (calls, txt, web surf here and there), but if you play too much heavy games, it won't last half a day. Maybe 3hours. Hopefully 6.0 Marshmallow update will bring us some battery life improvements, who knows. Other than that, the phone is simply fantastic, the design and feel in the hand, boomsound speakers with dolby audio is just amazing, UI is lag free it's so smooth and fast, camera is not the best, but not bad either (after 5.1 update), I rate it strong 8.5/10 (10/10 would probably be samsung, lumia phones, new iphone maybe), the pictures still look good detailed for an average user like me, so I'm not complaining. Also, the temperatures are not high at all as it used to be before 5.1, it has normal temperature while playing games, just as any other phone out there. And I like the cold feel of the body when I pick him after some inactivity. :P

AnonD-467625, 23 Nov 2015Does this phone heat? How about the battery life and the camera?After updating to 5.1 and wiping the cache, it doesn't heat most of the time. Battery lasts for 1 day in normal usage, not gaming. This phone is not for heavy gamer and photo shooters. Small games can be played. Camera quality is average. Although 20MP, but photos looks like a 8MP camera. Speaker quality is the best among all phones. Very clear and stereo surround sound effects.

I bought this phone yesterday here in Riyadh, then installed all the updates from 5.0.2 to 5.1. And then i wiped the cache and factory reset the phone. It is a very good phone. Running cool now. On 5.0.2, it was hot like a cup of coffee. But after updating to 5.1, It is cool most of the time. But gets little warm when playing Asphalt 8 or heavy games. I checked battery temperature and it is 42 degrees celsius, room temperature was 33 degrees.

This particular phone is garbage !!!!!@
All kinds of problems .....volume control is wacky,speakers go bad after a while, gets slow and laggy after a month or so,I have to manually shut down and clean ALL programs EVERY time (or continuously runs my data)..etc.
Going back to IPHONE!!!

Here my experience with HTC m9.
Using this phone for the last one month
and become a fan of this beauty.
Build quality - great.. eye catching design with unique metal body.I love it.
Handling - you can simply operate m9 with single hand.even it is pocket friendly.
Display - 5 inch display does every thing.viewing angles, clarity ..couldn't find a mistake.some people are saying not so good as galaxy S6.but trust me you will never dissapointed with m9 display.
Speakers - nothing to say much.. none of the smart phones can beat the audio quality. superb..superb.. superb..
Call quality - great
Camera - here I have to say something..
Main camera : even the main camera is 20mp, u can't take a better picture in certain lighting conditions. But there are lot of manual adjustments in the camera settings,with the help of that u can take good quality pictures. Pictures taken in good lighting conditions are awesome and good for macro photography.
videos(full HD) taken with m9 are just awesome. I have taken some cute videos of my little daughter and they are lovely.
Front camera: 4mp ultra pixel gives you better quality selfies than any other phone.
battery - Mm.. this is the area where I got disappointed.. it will last hardly one day for moderate usage.am not a heavy gamer ,but browsing 2-3 hours,hearing music 1-2 hours,making 2-3 hour calling,1 hour watching videos on a daily basis and am getting hardly one day back up.
Heating : m9 heating a little bit during streaming..but not much. I think every smart phone having this issue.
If you want an android phone with great build quality ,lightning speed and audio/video play back..then go for it. Camera is good but the competiters may have better ones.

2. I haven't used Ultra Power Saving Mode a lot, but it only extends my battery life up to 2x.
3. I haven't used the LG G3 before, but since the M9 is newer than the G3, I am sure it is a lot better, especially in good daylight.
