Hi guys,
I'd want to buy some budget HTC One M8 or M9 from eBay - something like "manufacturer refurbished" type.
Will it work well some time? May be someone has the experience? And why the refurbished M8 is sold in same price like refurbished M9 - approximately 100$? What's a point?

Don't based on GSMarena, its nearly the same thing as the M9, your better off going to M10 based on Stats, but I'm assuming its cause its got IP57 Dust/Water Resistant...you can try & find a Water/Dust/Shock Resist case for an M10
- EVO is newer than M10 by 7months
- EVO is 0.3inch bigger than M10, 0.5inch bigger than M9
- EVO matches M9's LCD3 display, M10 has LCD5
- EVO matches M10's 1440 x 2560 pixel, M9's is 1080p (1080p is Enough)
- EVO has better Corning Gorilla Glass 5 than M10 & M9 (Get TemperGlass)
- EVO's cpus are the same as M9's 2.0Ghz & 1.5Ghz, but M10 is very much the same
- EVO's gpu is the same as M9's 430, but M10 has a 530 (Top for now)

Guys I have been using my M9 since 2016 until now it's running smoothly no problem at all but I am thinking to switch to HTC 10 EVO (HTC Bolt) is it a good decision I need your advice guys please thanks in advance

I became fan of HTC phones for their impeccable design esthetic and being an android phone, I loved it all the way!!! HTC ONE M9 is my second one, I just received it, and in LOVE again!!! It is a pleasure to hold this device - it feels like driving Tesla Model S, pleasure to my eyes to see little details and precision in design, gracefulness and good taste! The interface is easy, simple, logical, friendly. And the SOUND: absolutely divine audio output!!! I so much look forward to have this beautiful unique device as my day-nigh-work-leasure friend. THANK YOU design team and producers of HTC. Thank you for your passion and hard work. You make best phones!

Using my M9 for over 2 years. Still runs quick and smooth. It gets warm sometimes but never hot. Battery still pretty good, mostly gets me through the day. Display is bright and sharp with nice colors though hard to see in direct sunlight. Camera is fine for me except tricky in low light. I dropped it 5 or 6 times, twice without a case onto hardwood floor. No problem. Love the stereo-facing speakers. I plan eventually to go with the U11.

I bought this one brand new and had it before it was released in the stores, I loved it. Coming from the M7 which was revolutionary for its time, I couldn't wait to get my hands on this one. I skipped the M8 which I now regret because this one died on me eight months later due to one of the original 810 chips that overheated badly. It was replaced and I now have a new M9 I'm carrying now. I bought the HTC 10 but I find myself changing to the M9 frequently due to missing the front facing speakers which I miss dearly on the 10. I really hope HTC releases a new metal phone in the future like the their previous years with the front facing speakers. I hope they find their formal identity. I just can't buy a glass phone.

Almost perfect, if I had to identify some weakness, I would say that the camera takes a while to start, but not so much as to worry.
Unrivaled sound quality and output power.

I guess I do take offense when someone says they don't think much of Americans. I guess I don't think much of Indians, no offense. Why someone giving a review of a telephone would have to be offensive to another group of people just tells you how much lack of grey matter they have.
