This phone is good. Maybe not a king but there isn't any other alternative. Lg uses snapdragon 808. Sony uses same hardware but design is worse. Samsung neglects micro sd and uses 2k resolution for nothing. For only lower battery life and lower performance. There isn't any option without m9.

The Sd810 chip is just to power hungry. I hope some tweaks or update will help in the future. Other than that, the phone is a beast so fast and fluid

Sad sad sad . I'd have this phone in a second if the battery was removable . I don't know where to go next . I'm done with Samsung and LG . Im looking for a large screen , at least 6 inches , smartphone that's loaded with a kick butt engine and camera WITH a removable battery . There's not one out there . I'd love to have this HTC but no way , not a chance without a removable battery . I don't care what anyone says , it's so easy to go through 2 batteries with any of these larger smartphones . Disappointed yet again .

The htc one m9 is the perfect smartphone for me.
Better design, boomsound speakers and htc sense. Unfortunately htc decided to launch the m9+ in india with the mediatek processor... thats a no go for me.
Hence galaxy s6 will be my smartphone for the next 2-3 years

Its just the post processing of the image is not upto the mark. And sometimes the camera cant get the exposure right but its ok.
Mostly you wont even make out the difference when you buy this phone as you wont be comparing it with other phones

In one of the videos I saw that there was not much of a difference between the two. But no means the one m9 camera beats the s6 camera

This is common in IRAN (With MCI but not IRANCELL). It seems we should wait for an update from HTC.
I suggest send an email to contact_us@htc.com to enforce them solve the problem.

I am having the same problem of overheating. I'm also experiencing that apps that load pictures don't load for 5 minutes or so. I do not rate this phone. Iv had all the Samsung s series Evan the s5 which is so much better than this m9. Camera is poor. I'm lucky it's faulty as I have only had it for a week so it's going back for Samsung s6 which I new I should have stuck with.

Why did HTC use Toshiba's camera?! I really don't understand. Without ois the camera won't be good as apple or Samsung. I really wish HTC would wake up. I'm thinking of just refundinf this for a Samsung galaxy s6

But the question, does the update add the image stabilization or video stabilization, i really used to be font of Htc but they disappoint me with their cam or what i heard about it, i don't care much about other options in Samsung S6 like fingerprint or fast charger which i have to buy it separately for htc etc... but at least the cam.
They really make me attracted for the 1st time to Samsung S6

Anonymous, 18 Apr 2015M9 is the king. There is no smartphone in 2015 which can beat M9.Yea there is... Samsung galaxy s6 and s6 edge. Even gsmarena picked up the poor camera quality of M9. I'm a m9 user myself. M9 is great but not the king yet. I hope HTC can pick up the king title again on M10
