You said Samsung Galaxy don't get updates on time, who told you that? My wife's galaxy note 3 already have lollipop update, but my htc one max is not dreaming of that yet.

1) The biggest Android phone seller globally is Samsung.
2) Because Samsung is the biggest Android phone seller does not even put them in the top 3. Even their best Galaxy series devices. Good on initial release but late to
never any updates.
I have had Samsung devices in the past. They are junk IMO.

Maybe a little more in iOS in your ability to turn off after program install. Specifically Location services and Notifications. Plus whether or not uses Carrier Data. Devil is in the details in researching and understanding how to apply.
Always remember all of these software and hardware companies purpose is to separate money from your wallet to them. They are not your friends. No matter what they say.

Is the over heating issue you mention with the HTC One M9 phone real. Please explain how you carry and how/and long it takes to show. Please share more detail.

Problem with M9
1) Snapdragon 810 it is throttled badly to hide its overheating issue. This is severely hampering its performance in all the benchmarks
2) even after the software update for camera there is problem with its handling blue color and saturation.
3) video is pathetic its constantly focusing. not good at all
4) With this thickness of the device they should have included 3000mAh battery
5) Super LCD is not as good as AMOLED in terms of nits, pure black reproduction, on top HTC has done shody job of handling gray shades.
6) the viewing angles are bad, display becomes all blur.
When are tech experts at HTC going to address these if at all they want to, i.e. they want to sell smartphones

Yes, but getting toasty is one thing but how long does it take to get toasty. I play online racing, how long b4 I have to put it down? How long to cool off so I can race again?

does ... moreI got mine two days ago. When i first booted up the phone I logged into my accounts through the setup process. Brought over all my wifi passwords, contacts, etc.. When it began downloading all my apps it did warm up.
I've had the m7, m8 and now the m9. The warmth of it is about the same as my m8. Throught the two days i've had it with all the things i do, facebook, clash of clans, music playback, I havent noticed any heating difference between my m8 and m9.
