Has anyone else had a problem with the camera where it all of the sudden will not allow you to scan around for a view to capture?
The minute I turn on the camera feature it captures whatever it is aimed at at that instant and will not allow any moving the lens around seeking a scene to take a picture of.
I hope I explained that correctly.
At any rate, I cannot take pictures with it as is.

Anonymous, 13 Jul 2014Does anyone know if power saving mode affects video recordi... moreAs far as my none-professional use of the video recorder goes, it does not seem to be affected by the CPU conservation when Power saver mode is on.
But you should note that Power saver mode has customizable settings in this phone. So you can leave CPU at full power if you feel like. There is also reduce display brightens, turn off feedback and turn off data when screen is off all 4 can be set to on/off in the power saving mode settings.

zeeshan , 11 Jul 2014Camera result is bad and GPS not work properly and mobile l... moreI Had a SIII before this so I know what you are talking about.
Location services works and is setup a bit different on this phone.
First be sure to have the GPS toggle as one of the visible 12 buttons in your quick settings.
Now here come the part that I think is strange. apps can access location information with the toggle in both (ON) and (OFF) position. Or you can have it set that none gives you location information. It all depend on how the location service is set up in settings.
Below is the best way I know how to explain it.
There are 4 modes for the location service (and I mean the “location service” and not the GPS toggle in quick settings I mentioned above.)
1. (Off) [you get no location data]
2. (ON) High accuracy [uses GPS, Wi-Fi, mobile network all at the same time to get your location]
3. (ON) Battery saving [uses your Wi-Fi, mobile network only to get your location]
4. (ON) Device sensors. [ uses your GPS radio only to get your location]
Any of the 4 mentioned above can be set to the GPS toggle OFF and any of the 4 can be set to the GPS toggle (ON). It sound crazy to me but it is true.
HOW TO SET IT UP.
2 finger swipe into your quick settings look at your GPS toggle and see if it is ON or OFF
(For my example I would say it is OFF.)
Then tap the 3 dots on the GPS toggle. It will take you to location settings. In there you decide what mode you want the Toggle in, when it is OFF. You can which it off so no apps get any data when the toggle is off or you can have it (ON) and pick what mode you want it run in when the toggle is OFF (2,3,4 mentioned above)
Then you 2 finger swipe into the quick settings again. Turn the GPS toggle (ON)
Tap the 3 dots again and go back into the location settings. This time you are setting up how the GPS toggle behaves when the toggle is (ON) from the same 4 options mentioned above.
YES! It sounds crazy but it’s true.
Once you setup how you want the GPS toggle ON and OFF from quick settings to work. You only need to go to quick settings (using the 2 finger swipe) to switch between your GPS modes using to toggle ON/OFF only.

Avoid like the plague! In 3 months I have had 5 faults, returned it twice, last time took 21 days! Promised a call by HTC "Escalations" twice and no one has bothered to contact me. Power socket failed, auto brightness not working, speakers distorting, microphone poor, and random crashes followed by it switching itself on when just sitting on a desk. Add to that appalling battery life and poor build quality.

After the update to Sense 6, whenever I tap "Send Greeting" then "Write on wall" in the Calendar app, I'm redirected to Facebok homepage asking me to log-in. However, after I put my username and password then log-in,the error message "An error occured. Please try again later" appears. If anyone can assist me, that would be very much appreciated. Thank you in advance.

When I updated to sense 6 opera mini took a new design and lost the fit-to-screen feature. I just want a single column browser without having to zoom in and out to view things . And I can't seem to find one. Ucbrowser has that feature but I don't like Ucbrowser. I hate scrolling North, South, East and West. I only like scrolling North and South. Any help with such browser will be greatly appreciated !
