hi anthony ,i tried safe mode bt the problem still there , i asked shall i do factory reset or shall i do wipe cache partition because you said to imnazreen that ( The phone will now start like the first day you took it out the box but with the ROM you installed last.).please advice .

my phone got Android 4.4.2 back in February before the M8 was launched. My # is 2.61.708.1
If you Google that # you will see it's Hong Kong.
BTW. Did you clear the cache partition.

To readers that don’t have a HTC ONE Max please note that to get into Android System Recovery mode, it’s different for different manufactures and some times models.
1. Go to settings >power
2. Turn off Fast boot.
3. Power off your phone.
4. Hold down “volume down” & power till the phone boots to the screen with the 3 Androids on skate boards.
5. Use the volume keys to navigate to “Recovery”
6. Press the power key. The phone will then reboot and you will see a ONE MAX with the RED warning logo on the screen.
7. Once there, hold “volume up” & press the power key. That will take you into the “Android system recovery”
8. Use the volume keys to navigate to “wipe cache partition” and press power key to enter.
9. Navigate to “wipe data/factory reset” & press power to enter.
10. Navigate to “reboot system now” & press power to enter.
The phone will now start like the first day you took it out the box but with the ROM you installed last.
Note:
a. In the future do the “wipe cache partition” just before you download and install a new ROM, this way you will not have to do a factory reset to get rid of errors.
b. Reson to keep “fast boot” on, when you not trying to get into Android recovery. Once you have a password on your phone, fast boot would make it impossible for the average thief to factory reset the phone by booting in to Android system recovery without knowing your password.

And I'm thinking that is your problem as well.
You should also do a wipe cache partition along with the factory reset. That is normal practice with ROM update problems.
BTW. Which version of this phone do you have? What region? I'm still on 4.4.2 (got that in February) but haven't gotten sense 6. I have the Hong Kong model.

I have used this phone since this model was launched. With all specs it got i really impressed with all the performance. But since i updated to latest android version 4.4.2 and sense6 i hv a major problem on its battery. Takes 2 times full charging to use whole day and it really drain my battery. Some says that i must factory reset to hv the previous sense 5.5 seems its like unstable. Is it true to take that action or maybe there is some problem on my battery? Plz help..

3 more days before June is over and I still haven’t gotten the sense 6 update.
Am I the only HTC ONE MAX international unlocked user that haven’t got the update?
I have a Hong Kong model and my software version is 2.61.708.1 (Android 4.4.2)
Did anyone with that version get updated pass that software version?
Or am I do believe my model is really not going to get sense 6 till the next Android version update comes out for the ONE MAX.

Mostafa Gad , 26 Jun 2014i asked my htc customer service for that and they told me t... moreBefore you do a factory reset, if you want to know if your problem is being caused by an app you installed. You can boot your phone in save mode. Only apps that came with the phone will load in safe mode and you can test to see if you are still having the problem.
To get into save mode, follow the steps below.
1. With the phone ONE press and hold the power key to bring up the power off menu.
2.press and hold power off in the menu till you get the reboot to safe mode menu.
3. Press restart.
when it starts in safe mode test to see if you still have the dialer problem. If you don't it means it's a app you installed is causing the problem.

And reinstall your apps one at a time, testing the dialer after you install each one, to see which app is causing the problem.

first i use the phone , there is no lag when dialing . but after i start put apps it become lag . when i press to dial no blue window frame appear and no sound for press ( not often but its lag )and about storage , my internal is 16 and im using about 6 , the external is 16 and im using about 2 .

Mostafa Gad, 25 Jun 2014i have about 10.0 GB.and the same on SDcard.you never updated your ROM and you have more than 10% of the internal storage free, so you should not be getting lag with the dialer. did it always do that or it started after you installed something?
