I love how you all constantly moan over the camera on this thing. who are you guys? amateur budding photographers? the camera is good enough, it is only a phone afterall jeeeez, as long as it calls and texts then there shouldnt be an issue - if there is then your buying a phone for the wrong purpose, get a tablet or a laptop!

I don't understand how they have selected the 4 M pixel for the main camera for one or one max when all smartphone equipped with at least 8 MP .they made good body but the destroy it by the 4MP .
The decision maker of this idea has to be kicked out from HTC!!!!!!!

I hope it will have snapdragon 800. If so, I definitely will buy one.

Note 3 with a Snapdragon 800 with 3GB of ram, the Max with a Snapdragon 600 with 2 GB of ram. Which one would you purchase, IMO I'd get the Note 3.

The quality in low light is quite significant, also with 4MP they take up less room.
I bet that 95% of camera phone users will never print a big copy of their picture. Remember that a 1080p Monitor is only 2MP Facebook lowers the resolution of your images to under 2MP.
I think the megapixel war has gone out of hand for phones.
Do you really need more than 4MP?
If you do, then get a real camera like a low end DSLR for $600 or a micro 4/3.

Ultrapixel and megapixels are the same thing, This phone basically only has a 4 megapixel camera which has larger pixels on the sensor.

Dear gadget lovers,
I have several questions regarding this awesome handset.
I am also a gadget lovers myself. I have tried every brand names of phones such as Nokia, Siemens, Sony Ericsson, Samsung, LG, Iphone, Blackberry.
Now I am using Blackberry for my business phone and Samsung Galaxy Note 2. I would love to change my Galaxy Note 2 with either HTC One Max, Sony Xperia Z Ultra, or stick with my Samsung Galaxy Note 2.
my several questions are:
1. Does HTC One Max have stylus, since I really need stylus to help me in my business? Or does it compatible with any stylus?
2. Does HTC One Max uses Snapdragon 600? or 800? I am kinda confuse since lome web said it uses 600 but some other webs said it uses 800?
3. For the sake of Camera? Does 4 Ultra Pixel is as good as 13 Mega Pixel or less? What is the diff between UP and MP?

its is a very good phone and very huge phone camera specs should be given 8 megapixels and ppi should be 400,snapdragon should be 800.

You know placing a Snapdragon 600 in this phone is like putting a 6 cylinder in a formula 1.
It will get you around the track. But you damn sure won't win any races. And what's up with the 4 mp camera? You have this awesome phone and throwing crap into it.

So the camera is somewhat similar to the Sigma Foveon image chip, where it has the three color separation layers? If this is true, then I can see the benefits of this type of camera.
