I currently own this phone and think it's fantastic.
Went from an iPhone 4s to this HTC One X, and it was the best decision i've ever made. Its faster than the iPhone, more attractive, and has more features. Can't think of a phone on the market currently, that i'd rather have.

Hi, I just bought this phone non-contract, with at&t. & i am using prepaid at&t. & after adding an apn setting to wap.cingular, i was able to get the mobile internet to work. But still cannnot send/receive MMS. please help?

htc one x has received latest update of jellybean (android version 4.1.1) with update of htc sense version 4+ ; software no. 3.14.720.24
find below special note regarding features got updated in our htc one x (jellybean):-
1. notification changed with power saver control (on/off), also new features added to conserve less battery with control on ((cpu power; display; vibration; data connection))
=> settings=> power
2. now u can also disable lock screen to access phone functionality faster without having to unlock
=>menu=> personalise=> lock screen style=> no lock screen
3. rich notification ex: like figure update on miss call
improved on lock screen and inner menu view also
4. message inbox improved
=>password in secure box for imp messages
=> block list to move messages which are not imp or which are disturbing us(blacklist for messages)
=> message box got background with customisation of wallpapers and colors in background & text
=> message forwarding to phone number and email address is added in message settings
5. camera function improved and soft key added to use both camera for front & rear
6. inner menu view improved with hide apps as many as u want
7. calendar view improved
8. car mode function improved
9. gallery view improved with event view and location view on map function soft key added
10. google search app improved with
google now exciting features for right information at just right time.
google now works with gmail (english only); only on jellybean
ex: it tells u todays weather before u start ur day, how much traffic to expect before u leave for work and more.
like flights, restuarant reservations, hotel confirmations, events, packages, near by attractions & photo spots, movies opening in theaters,concerts & more
11. internet browsing improved in jellybean more better browsing than ics using all quad core processors
12. pdf viewer app is added for viewing pdf files
13. setup wizard improved with new feature to set up ur phone from pc

=> storage function improved with usb otg support for connecting pen drives on the go
=> dock mode function added

Let me explain whats not working for me: I'm unable to use my computers internet connection to my phone (i.e Internet Pass-Through is not working). This htc is a pile of junk slow, rite in the middle of web it just decides to go back to home page, oh did i mention slow, pile of junk .

on my newly upgraded one x to jelly bean i cant seem to find the google voice shortcut and when i open google search i dont get the cards. please help

Hi, after upgrading to JB my one x is great. But some things i dont like are like
-slow to charge,
-music volume with earphone sometimes rises suddenly after pause (interrupted by notification sound,etc),
-transition while switching between tabs is now gone,
-webpage needs to reload if leave the browser to another apps,
-and still heats up and drains battery quickly
-and im not sure if video calls over 3G is hardware limitation

after updating JB my htc one x is now super smooth like and m very impress with google now its working gr8 but i check in sum phone google now voice now is talk back in few search i dne d same search in mine bt its nt workib so plz post here if anyother facing dis same problem

You need to plugin a headset/headphones
Drag down your notifications bar, and hit 'Settings'
Click on 'Sound'
You'll notice the 'Sound enhancer' menu is now not greyed out
Tap this and you'll then get a choice of 'Sound enhancers' to use
Confirmed as working for me.
