dear friends,
htc one x has received latest update of jellybean (android version 4.1.1) with update of htc sense version 4+ ; software no. 3.14.720.24
find below special note regarding features got updated in our htc one x (jellybean):-
1. notification changed with power saver control (on/off), also new features added to conserve less battery with control on ((cpu power; display; vibration; data connection))
=> settings=> power
2. now u can also disable lock screen to access phone functionality faster without having to unlock
=>menu=> personalise=> lock screen style=> no lock screen
3. rich notification ex: like figure update on miss call
improved on lock screen and inner menu view also
4. message inbox improved
=>password in secure box for imp messages
=> block list to move messages which are not imp or which are disturbing us(blacklist for messages)
=> message box got background with customisation of wallpapers and colors in background & text
=> message forwarding to phone number and email address is added in message settings
5. camera function improved and soft key added to use both camera for front & rear
6. inner menu view improved with hide apps as many as u want
7. calendar view improved
8. car mode function improved
9. gallery view improved with event view and location view on map function soft key added
10. google search app improved with
google now exciting features for right information at just right time.
google now works with gmail (english only); only on jellybean
ex: it tells u todays weather before u start ur day, how much traffic to expect before u leave for work and more.
like flights, restuarant reservations, hotel confirmations, events, packages, near by attractions & photo spots, movies opening in theaters,concerts & more
11. internet browsing improved in jellybean more better browsing than ics using all quad core processors
12. pdf viewer app is added for viewing pdf files
13. setup wizard improved with new feature to set up ur phone from pc

=>13 regional languages added in htc indic ime
=> google voice typing improved with 73 international languages
15. setting features improved
=> wi fi direct feature added in wifi for better transfer and connection
=> u can block wifi network for management
=> wifi frequency band fucntion added for better operation upto 5ghz
=> htc media link improved with seprate function in setting menu with 3 finger gesture support
=> connect to pc function removed and improved with
(previous)=> charge only, htc sync, disk drive, usb tethering, internet passthrough
(improvement)=> smart network sharing ((enabling usb tether & internet pass through)) also serprate function given for same
(improvement)=>(charge only, htc sync, disk drive ) removed for better improvement and they working direct as soon as phone is connected with pc
=> beats audio function added in setting menu (on/off) for better improvement in phone functionality
=> application function improved with (reset app prefrences) for disabled apps notifications, actions, and for backgroung data restrictions.
=> storage function improved with usb otg support for connecting pen drives on the go
=> dock mode function added
=> developer options function imporved with (on/off) feature for better phone functionality for user.

anyone from Sri Lanka have recieved the 4.1.1 update. Its released in pakistan and india too. Pls let know as i have not received it yet

Need Help
hi friends i m facing one problem when i m using internet / Skype / facebook / wats app and viber through wifi or mobile connection/data connection its works properly but when my mobile screen going on standby all connections going to end automatically n i am not able to receive any msgs on my chat software but when again i m pressing unlock button its going to connect with data sim or wifi but i want to continue my internet connection even in standby mode other problem of heating any solution for ?? waiting for the perfect respond

Woot the jellybean update just arrived for my country, Brunei( on Borneo Island neighbors are malaysia and Indonesia) and I'm downloading it now, will comment later to see what effects it will gimme :D
