Screenshot on the One X is Power button + Home - NOT Power + Volume Down like most android phones.
My phone used to restart on its own quite alot. After researching online, I found a suggestion to uninstall a photo suite app called PicsArt - if you have this and your phone is restarting, try uninstalling it, it worked for me.
I've had this phone for nearly 2 years, it's had its ups and downs, but overall, it's a very good phone. The main problem is the battery, it is quite poor and not removable. The main camera at 8 MP is good but not as good as Samsung or Sony 8MP cameras. The front camera is a design flaw - it is countersunk into the bezel, rather than being flush to it like most other phones, as a result it collects alot of dust quickly, and needs wiping regularly with an anti-static cloth and something thin (I use a pen nib) otherwise your selfies are very blurry.
The Sense 5 update is devisive - some liked it, I didn't. It removed alot of features I used, and I prefered the visual layout of most of the old icons. I see the attraction to blinkfeed if you use social media alot, but I don't so I don't use blinkfeed. If HTC offered a rollback to 4+, I would probably take it.
Display is brilliant, so is the beats audio equalizer. I have never noticed any kind of lag except when playing a very heavy game like GTA, and then it is only mild, and occasional, still playable. I have dropped mine from my pocket on a moving bicycle to the concrete floor twice, and off my bed/desk/missed my pocket multiple times and the only damage has been slight scuffs to corners, so it is quite tough - no iphone would have survived those concrete drops.
It is slightly dated now (no 4G etc) but for the price you can get them for these days, and its 1.5 GHz quadcore processor, it is a good phone that sits nicely between mid range and higher end.

Had this phone for three weeks and it suddenly stopped charging. Very dissapointed

Hi hTC one x users, I have this phone but i want to know the best way i can keep it unused without damaging the battery until i come home vacation.
Is opening it and disconnecting the built-in battery a better option? Please help

Solution for both speakers...take a toothbrush and clean it! I didn't believed it too but it's working.try it

I brought this phone in June 2012 and still using this despite experiencing some problems. Check out below.
Advantages:
1. First thing comes to my mind is, its looks and light weight. Seriously, its good when compared to other phones and especially Samsung Models.
2. Primary 8MP Camera. Its image quality was superb and clear. My Friends and relatives always used to comment on my phone camera picture quality.
3. Beats Audio in speakers. Best Sound quality i ever heard from mobiles after Sony
4. OS. Apart from using Android 4.2.2v, i am very much happy with their 5.0V Sense. It really gives a nice user experience to work on.
5. 1 GB RAM. Never ever, my phone got hanged till date. Maybe i might change the phone when it gives me that problem.
6. Too many home screen pages and good to add so many apps and widgets. I have created apps and widgets on all 7 screens and customized properly.
Disadvantages:
1. Battery Life. Seriously, its battery life drains very fast and quick. Because of that where ever i go, i used to take my USB cable.
2. Single SIM Slot
3. Camera.
I dropped my phone once last year and from then it wont work sometimes. It just says "Unable to start camera" or "Black Screen Display" or "Colourful Stripes" something. There must be some loose connection to camera power or lens loose or something.
Front Camera is only 1.3MP which is very bad for pictures.

Only thing I dont like is the battery performance and speakers. Speakers got way too low and distorted in 2 years. Hope I can use this 1 more year.
