Got it last week.
Going great so far.
I have had Desire HD before it for almost 2 years and that thing worked solid for 2 years.
One X has great screen. 720p+HTC Sense= WOW DHD had 4.3 and One X has 4.7 screen but still it doesn't feel big compared to DHD.
Superfast processor makes web browsing supersmooth.
Haven't played with camera much yet but so far it seems great.
Battery could be better. As when playing 3D games, battery can go down a little fast. But standby times are excellent, it almost uses negligible battery on standby. Also WIFI power management is improved, it only uses power when some app is using internet, so you can leave it ON and not worry about battery , this wan't same in Desire HD.
All in all , a very good package. Thank You HTC

Hi guys,
Any idea how to check htc phone manufactured date? I've tried *#*#4636#*#* code and download some third party apps but still cant get info on that. Anyone, help?

have a download issue on my one x !!! Whenever I download a software update like the 4.0.4 update and the other minor software updates we got before the 4.0.4 update., the download freezes on 0% and it takes very long and then slowly comes to 1% ! There is an app on the one x called ' show me ' ! Whenever I download or update the 'how-tos' from the 'show me' app , my downloads gets stuck on 0% and takes too long and fails most of the times !!! When I downloaded the 4.0.4 update also it failed but somehow by fluke it got completed !!! My WiFi connection is super fast and I don't put my phone for charging also when I dowload updates but still these problems persist ! I factory reset my phone twice buy nothing helps !!!! Play store works fine , I can download apps from.play store comfortably !! For comparison , I got my friends one x too !!! His phone , the download was smooth but in mine it was too slow ! Please help me ,.I think there is some sofyare glitch in my phone !!! When.I downmkaded the 4.0.4 update it got stuck on 0% for information I did not put my phone on charge !! I wish I could take a video if it nd post in on YouTube !!!! It got stuck on 0% and failed and then.I stat it again

The one x is quite a good phone. Battery lasts for a day in moderate use. Heavy games and apps can drain the battery a lot. Fifa 12 ---20% of battery used in 30 mins.Camera is excellent, it has the panaroma, hdr and even more features. Music player is beautiful in my opinion. It gives a very good bass and clear quality. Internet is very fast and the quad core gives super fast processor.
Now the bad things. There are a few lags in the homescreen, menu and apps. The screen is quite big but it does fit in the pocket.

I bought this phone about 1 to 2 months, all I can say is that this phone is great, but it has a little problem. The battery life of the phone is the first and it gets heat up easily, but if you upgrade your phone the phone gets better.
Trust me your gonna love this phone!!!!

Unfortunate bad experience with HTC one x!

Bad things first...
Is it worth 30K plus? Definitely not!!!
I bought this phone last week, the same day the proximity sensor stopped working- which means when you on a phone call the screen goes total blank- you will not be able see second call, switch loud speaker, you can't use number pad (e.g. choose an option during an Air Tel 121 call, etc.)
After playing with the phone for 15min, I got call and it was very uncomfortable talking - the screen was warm (I would say bit hot) it was very annoying. When I keep the volume little less than max I could feel a little vibration in back case behind the speakers.
I loved the touch during demo. But after two days of usage I would rate it average (definitely better than other smartphones though)
Definitely there is little more than average heat both in the back case and front screen. In smart phones you should expect some amount of warm/heat, but one X it was way above what it should have been on a 35k phone.
3rd day with my new phone- I went to a service center recommended by HTC toll free help-line. Surprise, there is no such service center. HTC website is not updated and help-line doesn't know where they service. The service center is pathetic. It was like a hospital Queue! After spending 35k I have to wait in Queue for few hours before I get a chance to explain the problem.
Email layout is good but when u actually open an email it kind of sucks....e.g. it won’t show a table in the body of the message, sometimes it doesn't crop a message to fit the screen
Turn on maps and the battery drains super-fast... 5min on maps and I lot approx. 8% of my battery!

Good stuff about HTC one x......
HTC sense UI is just brilliant. I loved it.
The integration with Google, face book and other social network is amazing. Go to contacts and you get everything about your buddies- Their last FB update, birthdate, photos, etc.
The screen is amazing- sharp and perfect for watching movies and photos
Looks bit stylish and neat.
Camera- no comparison… Too good
Music- sharp and enjoyable ... Very good
Internet surfing is super-fast (only if your network/Wi-Fi is fast)

Summary:
HTC one x is not for an email person, for someone spending 3-4 hrs/day on phone, frequent traveler. Ask yourself if you need a brilliant camera and a good music/video experience? Or smart phone?
HTC one x - 35K is just for a brilliant camera, music player and large screen video watching. (I would rather buy a Tablet and a good camera!!! Or a 32 inch TV!!! )
I was bit concerned when I saw few more people (at least 4) with one x in the service center (all less than 5 months old). I personally had a bad experience (phone and service). May be its just me!!!
I got a DOA from service center and replaced my phone. I am not using HTC anymore.
I use smart phones for the last 6 years and I am business kind of user.
If you are a First time smart phone buyer and not a business kind of user then ignore my review. You are just going to love this phone.
