This phone is great except for 3 things - no SD card slot, video recording leaves a lot to be desired, and battery life is terrible unless it's in standby mode. The screen resolution is one of the best on the market. When I saw the screen resolution on the phone for the first time, I thought that it was one of those fake demo phones. It does everything I need it to and more. If the video recording quality was better, SD slot was included and the battery life was much improved, this would be the perfect phone.

If you are reading this review, i presume you intend to buy this device. Im a technician who fix phones and my advice to all potential buyers; stay away from this device. It has far too numerous serious hardware issues. Consider other alternatives.

Hello every one i have htc one x made in Taiwan from the first day that i bought the phone i received 3 update the first one was 35mb second for 4.0.4 third i don't know for what hahah ,
But yesterday i bought another htc one x but made in China and till now there is no software available for it and the phone still 4.0.3 sense 4.0 so please help me with this :'(

Be ready to buy many of these if you like them.
1- they 'stress fracture' easily because of their size and shape. God forbid you put in in your back pocket and try to kneel or sit. Same with your backpack--- and books in there with it? Better hope it doesn't get wedged. AT&T insurance is useless as 'the store doesn't tell you this - awful practice' that the deductible to replace it is $199 ... while the cost was $99!
