just a brilliant smart phone!!!! i have never used andriod os before and i foud it so easy and entertaining to pick up. its super fast and has a beautiful display, do not regret getting my htc one x, i love it

First I buy this year 2012 and start explore one by one functions and application is great. First I found the problem is battery quickly drain. Then, I learned some tips from HTC to prolonger my battery usage, its works. But still need to charge if more than 1 day standby mode. Some application automatically running when I off flight mode that need alot power usage and I can't stop it.
I like traveling, exploring over mountain in 5-20 days in the forest, there is no plug charger & not allowed spare battery there.. This is my problem.

this is put simply the best phone on the planet. and i love my one x. i just cant believe how good it is. so don't under estimate the power of the tegra 3. its awesome.

Had this phone for a week so here goes my REVIEW:
Pros:
.Fantastic design
.awesome display
.Battery is decent (lasts a day with moderate use)
.Good speakers (not as loud as my SII but more crisp)
Cons:
.Overheats when using rapidly even the front
.Great camera function but picture details not as good as my SII before
.Laggy UI,WHEN JUMPING TO HOME SCREEN (HOPE IT WILL BE GONE IN 4.0.4)
.Very few user ram available between 180-230 always
WELL IM NOT DISSAPOINTED OF BUYING THIS BUT IT DIDNT CAME TO MY EXPECTATIONS SO I GIVE THIS 8/10 OVERALL.

Smartphones will soon start replacing tablets which are already replacing netbooks, smartphones are an all in one device that replaces many other devices such as dedicated cameras, sat navs, laptops, dictaphones, torches, calculaters, ds's, and whatever else you can think of! (plus calling and texting obviously) I for one prefer to use my phone than reach for my 17" laptop to google something. So it is important to have a phone as close to the performance of a pc as possible if that's what you will be using most of the time.

I can use my S3 connected to my TV for playing games and play movies, and at work I can display my documents... on a big screen, so for me my smartphone is actually more useful than my laptop! I only use my laptop when I create very big documents...

this is all nonsense, what for to buy a phone with this price? even can get macbook air ady. when people comparing function they forgot to compare prices with laptop prices which have much more ffunction than smartphone. Smartphone is just smartphone, normal 1Ghz is more than enough for life proper and normal uses. But phone company keep on producing such luxury and got people blur-minded. All go for how nice is this phone, making human forget what is the actual uses of phone. Even if gaming, ddo you think smartphone can really play game nicely as compare to a quadcore laptop or pc? then wad for to set quadcore on phone? dual core is more than enough. pls be rational while considering buying smartphone. thx.

I was convinced I was going to choose the ONE S due to its more compact form as I am coming from the HTC desire (original) and I didn't want to jump to a massive phone. However after seeing the ONE X and the ONE S side by side my mind was changed in seconds, the screen on ONE X is amazing and makes the ONE S screen look old fashioned. There is no way I could live with the ONE S's screen for 2 years knowing that HD screens will soon be standard across all phones making me feel out of date. Yes the ONE S is smooth and fast but you will see that screen in everything you do on it! Youtube videos do not demonstrate the difference you need to see it with your own eyes

it z a g8 smart phone I've ever used. (I used s2 b4 this) the only problem is the battery lyf n heating. S3 also gets heated quickly. Some Sites told that new sense wud solve da problem with battery. sense 4.1 increases the speed. one x wit sense 4.1 scored 5900+ in Quadrant test. It beats S3!

The wifi in the phone works great.
Stop playing too many games, it won't run hot.
When charging is pretty normal with any phone

Ps I... morei have the same problem too.. i looked through the net and i found out that its a manufacturing fault, there is nothing that can be done, unless if there is a htc distributor in your country you can go and try for an exchange.

I am really thinking about, if I should buy HTC ONE S s4, or HOX? the difference is about 50 euros at the shop. Is HOX worth of these 50 euros? Why is HTC ONE S faster in benchmark test than HOX even than the SG3?
