Camera definitely not as good as the SGS3, and the worst thing is the very unstable battery life!...after using my One X for way over 3 months, I'm still unable to estimate how much battery I'll have left after using it for 2-3 hours or whatever time. This is not a good feeling; not at all, because I don't feel comfortable, and always have to worry about how much battery I have left, so I charge my One X whenever & wherever I can. No such issue with my SGS3 which I brought 3 weeks ago.
I also never have the same unstable battery issue with my previous Sony Xperia ARC; which I traded-in for the One X.

As the set is an expensive one.

I bought this phone 2days ago ,my phone gets heated up a lot and battery life is poor
I am going to replace my one X with another one X or will go buy s3
Otherwise this phone is best,I hate sgs3 interface

It is very wierd that if company is selling their sets in Pakistan and they don't have a service center. you bought the set in pakistan, or it is out of your country?

As all now these are battery hungry devices, so I had bought Juice defender Plus from Playstore, it controls apps connection to the internet. It connects automatically, to chk mail and other things such as facebook, twitter, linked in, and then again go in offline mode. So constant connection is not required it saves battery a lot.
Regarding heating, my first set gets hot only with facebook app on wifi and that so hot, that it becomes hard to hold, battery was too bad, so it had to be replaced.
Now even after playing Temple Run or Rip Tide for half an hour, the sets get reasonably warm. Sometimes due to network problem it also gets hot.
Though HTC service center states that it is reasonable for set to get hot upto 49 or 50 C. while gaming or data transfer as the set is slim, so we can easily feel the heat.
If you are not on 3G Network better switch to GSM only, not dual mode.

Quite Simply the best phone in the world.
So it does not have an SD Card.
Maybe the battery isn't as good as some others.
Maybe the S3 may equal it in processing power.
Yet the feel & look of the phone, The using experience is uncomparable - The Best phone without doubt.
You have to be mad to choose S3 over this?
Even HTC is much better than Samsung, Samsung has the worst customer service in the mobile industry.

I heard that it will take a couple of charge cycles for the battery to settle down. Please share with us your battery experience since I still have couple of days to exchange it. I also had overheat once while playing a THD game.
Yesterday battery life is around 12 hours with normal use. How much battery life do you get with your screen on in maybe 20-30% brightness?

YAWAR...Asia., 15 Jul 2012can any one tell me about overheating and battery life abou... moreIf the temperature is reaching 47 C and above in normal use such as calls and net surfing and battery is draining in 5 to 6 hours with moderate use then there is a problem with handset, only solution is replacing the handset through Service Centre which I had done within 14 days of purchase, now everything is fine, normal heating while gaming and battery gives back up for the day, I also installed juice defender for battery saving, it works great.
