HTC has made an announcement officially they have created a scheduled list to release the official version of the Jelly Bean update via OTA for some of their devices and also for the most powerful quad core device HTC One X. It will soon arrive globally in mid-September.

I bought HTC One X 45 days ago. The quality brilliance of the company boasting 'Quietly Brilliant' has gone quietly. The phone had to be replaced the very next day i bought as there were yellow spots at the bottom left part of the screen. Immediately after buying the phone the very next day i had to visit HTC Service Center for DOA certificate.
Now one and a half month down the ownership, the phone's WiFi connectivity has gone for a toss. It doesn't detects the WiFi connection even if you are sitting just next to the Access Point.
Things are further worsened by the service center guys who refused to accept it for repairs on account of HTC India instructions. In turn they gave me a number to get in touch with them to check if they are able to accept HTC devices or not and nobody picks this number despite calling repeatedly.

HTC one x , the phone is nice and reduce the memory problem on ICS 4.03. But the Gorilla Glass thingy is really any trade off . alot of you still didnt notice , its stated that scratch resistance but it is very fragile. Mine OneX screen got whole cracks just drop from knee height. Last time my Galaxy SL drop like mad dont even a scratch or crack.
Conclusion : this Gorilla glass too fragile just a single drop and just knee height its all cracks.

hi all,i have one x for three months now and in general i am happy with it.The only 2 problems i have is with heating near camera when browsing through wifi. 2nd, often looses signal and stays like this until i see it.Turning airplane mode on and off resolves the problem.The strange thing about it is that the quality of reception is perfect and never drops a call.Something else that does not give me any problems just asthetically is i get a green band on the notifications area after finishing from a call for 1-2 seconds. If anyone has any comments on this issues i would be very thankful to hear them.Thanks

SandeepS, 09 Jul 2012I purchased this phone through eBay. my phone was working p... morei agree with you i also have problem i also contactet htc but they cant help specially wifi dosent works well my xperia s and galaxy s 3 both phones work much better then one x the only thing you can do is to get replaced or wait for next 4.04 update or switch over to xperia s ot galaxy s 3 theire you get value for money

I purchased this phone through eBay. my phone was working perfectly initially and I was bit happy with happy with phone performance but on 15th day phone started showing no network signal. I restarted phone several times after 3 hrs it started behaving normally. I thought it was genuine network problem. after 2 days similar problem occurred and phone started overheating too(near rear camera). I restarted several times but problem wasn’t resolved. when I reached HTC service centre they told phone will not be repaired since they can’t replace phone after 14 days of purchase. unfortunately I purchased it 17 days back . . I am still waiting for my phone since 5 days as they told that service will take at least 2 weeks.

And its speed performance is equal antutu prefer s3 and quadrant prefer one x. And it can capture pic while video recording and it is more comfortable to hold and it battery life is enough one draw back is that it has no card slot but I think 32 gb is enough I prefer one x is has 6 better point don't care about s voice that can be activited on Android 4.1 jelly bean and to compare s3 with one x s3 only has 3 better points so HTC one x is great
