I also have problems with the phone getting too hot. Especially when using MHL cable or playing tegra games. Disappointing device. Shame. Not good quality. I had problems with media link HD, didn't work properly, rubbish, sent it back.

I just got my One X yesterday. No complaints whatsoever about the phone, its just an amazing piece of technology. The screen and colours are just awesome :D

HTC sensation user now for 5 months and im very happy with it. im planning to upgrade to one x in a couple of days. I want to know from sensation users to htc one x, is it worth the upgrade? i know that the battery life will be around 1 day only, i dont have issue about that - i can buy battery bank for extra juice. my only concern is the heat problem and build quality. how's the heat compared to sensation? does normal usage such as watching movie and using internet generates uncomfortable heat? your feedback is much appreciated.

I have mine ( One X ) since its initial launch in Singapore ( end of March ) . I have no issue with the phone so far ( knock on wood ) and its a great phone .
However, I agreed with you which BB has a much better radio reception ( for phone call ) over HTC and others , its well known BB ( also Nokia ) excels in this but sadly both company are in big trouble .
My advice is that , since you are stuck in this situation , you shall insist on a new replacement of One X .. after all , HTC's after sell service is still reputable .. i heard cases like yours and HTC is willing without any argumentation .. to replace with a new unit completely free . Good news is that , the later batch of production is much improved in quality .

This phone is seriously flawed. Lets start from the beginning:
Pros:
Good battery life for an android
Best GUI on the market (lock screen options are
phenomenal)
Bright rich screen
Form factor is very satisfying
Camera is excellent quality
Cons
Processor and multitasking SUCK. Impossible to stream music (slacker, mog when it loads, Pandora,) and do anything else on the phone without interruption.
More app crashes then I've ever seen on an android phone. Ever.
Severe WiFi and network connectivity problems. Won't find WiFi networks that other devices pick up in seconds, won't load data for a long time even with 3 bars of service on 4g.
Have not had any voice connection problems thou
Slowest data loading of any 4g phone att offers.
Trace is nowhere near as reliable as swipe. Trace gets most words wrong and subs the most obscure words for very common words. It also does not have many common wordsiIn the dictionary
In my opinion, the galaxy s 3 is a more solid purchase.ii

Sri, 01 Jul 2012Sound quality is Superb in HTC one X, No other phone having... moreI totally agreed with you ... if you have some extra bucks , buy a better earphone, and the sound quality will improve drastically with the Beat sound enhancement .. although some will say its artificial boosted ( in bass ) .. but what the heck . the whole sound spectrum is so rich and its amazing .

Yes, the ( not so very good but nevertheless it will last 3/4 to one day on extensive use ) battery life is the only issue I shall address here , consider it got a so advanced quad core cpu under the hood , but the sacrifice is well worth .. just fully charge it before bedtime .
PS: the 4.75" screen is the best I even seen over others.. I have iPhone 4 and Nokia N8/9 and 808 , and BB 9800 Bold .. One X is simply the best !

I have my One X since its very day launch in Singapore .. after 3 plus months .. this baby simply rocks in every aspect . Only wish the battery can last longer ( about 3/4 day of heavy duty use ) , but weight in all the pros .. no complain at all !
One X is a drastic improvement over the Sensation .
Good job and bravo to HTC !

Is it true that only white HTC One X is available in India?? Most of the stores don't have the Brown Grey in stock anymore including Flipkart which says that the Brown Grey model has been permanently discontinued !
After the S4 to S3 Chipset swap on the One S - this is really pathetic from HTC...
You just lost one customer HTC :/

To save your precious smartphones battery life simply do not used your phone "everytime", used it when you need it, play games when you got nothing else to do or while waiting for something, complaining the battery life won't make it better just charged your phone when it is time, its up to the users on how to use a phone wisely.

*** How to Improve BATTERY LIFE on Your ONE Xx ***
1)If u use it like an APE (all the connectivity on,Sync ON) then It will last 16-18h
2)Download JUICE DEFENDER Apps from the market and turn off all the connectivity when you dont need it..It will lat 3-4 days with basic use (30 mints of call,20 sms,10 cam shots,1 hr music play back in a day)
3)Put your brightness level to automatic adjust
4)Close the apps that You are not using

With all this settings ur cell will last just as a Nokia basic cell phone..Remember it has a quad core battery and 4.7 inch IPS2 screen.It has a good battery IMO.
### I'm using the galaxy SIII as well ###
SIII's battery is slightly better than one x.also some software issues..But for everything else.One X is simply the king of all the cell phone

dont ever use USB(500mAh) or 700mAh charger from old phone. it would definitely be slower.
