Software number: 1.29.708.9 is for:-
1. Manage of the battery so that the battery will be more stable and hence extend usage time.
2. Upgrade the ring/volume of the One X.
3. Upgrade the camera/video of the One X. Improve on the HDR function.

Believe it or not, today I just received another OTA update for One X. Now the software version is 1.29.401.11
This is obviously minor update since the file is only 14MB, and there isn't bigger difference in the software version numbers. I have international version of One X, and I'm from Serbia. Did anyone else received this update, and does anyone know what are the improvements?

HTC is working hard continuously providing update software to customers ... I just received another system update from HTC for my One X - 1.29.708.9 (34.28MB).
HTC is a great company!

HTC onex id currently the king of all android smartphone no dispute the materials of the phone. Samsung is just a plastic phone. Of all the smartphone manufacturer,motorola, sony, HTC,.please examine thief body u will discover that Samsung is just ripping the customer with the materials he uses for the body of the phones.why samsung is so popular is advert nothing more. I get this phone from 1 month but i have a problem in its battery heat when a use a heavy applications or games or activating 3G the battery heating reach to 65c kindly any body advice.

One X is best phone with best feature and design, best performance screen color is very bright and clear
But bad battery life, it drain fast with screen on like video playing or surfing internet but it is good when screen of as 3G talking upto 9 hours and 24mn and over while 4 hoursand 18mn for using internet and 5 hours and 45 mn for video play
