My setting are: GPS off, data to GSM only (not auto WCDMA/GSM because it eats a lot of battery this setting and because i use a lot WiFi -at work and home- there's no use for 3G to be enabled beside the situations when i don't have acces to a WiFi) and WiFi on and brigtness set to auto. Also, i would like to add that I'm not a fan of closed OS (WM7 or iOS) so Android remained my only option. So the only resonable options are between HTC and Samsung. Beside the "feeling factor" HTC has another advantage. A very good developer community. If you like tweaking and improving your stock rom, the xda-developers community is the best place for you. And is better than any samsung developes community..actually, i dare to say that is the best in world, right now. And so, we have a very good opportunity to benefit from ROM improvements for a long time, even after HTC stops delivering it. And that's the best thing for a phone.

sir Denzo!, 07 May 2012iphone 4s or one x ?there is no comparision, Iphone 4s is already outfashioned by more than 5 phones available in the market. HTC One X is totally above the class of Iphone 4s

3. Processing speed
4. Data speed
5. Camere features
6. Battery type, (Li-Po has more recharges)
7. Syncing
8. price
there might be more to add which needs more research but I stopped after getting above

I dont understand why DESIGN of HTC One X has been rated to 8.2 where as I believe its one of the best or straight forward the best design. Its classy and with great material and extra ordinary feel.
Guys either I have lost it of most of the people out there have....!

Depends on your priorities. ... moreIf you compare Iphone 4s with HTC ONE X there is harldy anything that is better on Iphone 4S other than its hype in the market,it's not Apple's weakness since the phone is aready more than 6months old in the market so there will be better phones with better technologies. Also the price if you compare HTC One X is worth as its available for almost 16gb Iphone 4S' price.

very happy with my htc 1 x i upgraded after losing my htc desire and everything about the new phone is better then anything else i have seen, i am amazed with the lengh of the battery life compared to my old desire i could probably get 2 days out of 1 x if i tried compared to 6 hours out of the desire.

Battery isn't the best and the camara is good for a phone but would never be my first option for photography. I would contact HTC.

Does anyone know how to set up mms data in this phone? I was looking for some info and I only find data for previous android versions, but with that I can't find where the APN thing is in my settings. And, unfortunately, Tweakker app is not working with android 4 yet.
Any ideas/solutions? Thanks in advance!
BTW, I'm from Argentine.

I bought it two days back. The microphone was a faulty one. while calling other party cann't hear me. I found in internet that other people faced the similar problem also. HTC doesn't want to replace the faulty microphone. It's a faulty manufactured phone. Not worthy of it's value.

If I tell you Samsung sucks at design and their TouchWiz fails you obviously won't believe. Having said that, the build quality is what I look forward the most when choosing phones, not to mention that Samsung probably rushed at the last minute and half-assed S3 design. To me the appearance looks nothing more than a generic text messaging phone.

Edit: Okay I see what you mean. Better just go with old age phones.
