Thanks for the info. I've had my carrier replace it three times now because all three have very bad battery power. They all drained so quickly on all three brand new models. I can take the third one back now and swap for different brand, my networks allows this if faults are returned 3 times. Samsung Galaxy SII held battery better then HTC ONE X.

It's about average by smartphone standards, lasting till the early evening on a standard working day's worth of use. Doing intensive tasks like playing 3D games will drain the battery faster too; powering that crisp screen seems a challenge for the HTC One X.

just bought the one x. its like heaven super smooth hd gaming is a piece of cake. the battery is working wonders. this is possibly the best way to spend your money. samsung can never reach this stage ever

tootoo, 04 May 2012its seems to me that one x just like child of s3.it takes 2... moreHTC One X has arguably better screen(at least as user experience, it's incredible), arguably better processor(at least for people who like advanced graphics, gamers etc.), definitely much better design, feel,software quality and better user experience over S3. S3 has over One X a bigger battery, a "don't want to use personal assistant"(at least not in public, and by the way, HTC Sense it's like a quiet assistant that does things for you and amazes you without the need tot talk to it) and some cheap addition software/services(let's admit it... Samsung is the best manufacturer in hardware, but they quite sucked all the time in software, they are quite bulky and unfinished). As a Samsung user(also HTC in the past) changing to HTC was a huge leap. It's as they say: Quietly brilliant.
But... most of the specs/features are arguably better for each depending on what you are interested in. Both of the phones are quite the best you can get right now, and both have impressive features, differing from each other, so it's up to everyone, but if you also prefer some quality, don't forget to try One series.

tootoo, 04 May 2012its seems to me that one x just like child of s3.it takes 2... moreListen bro,, the processor is all that the s3's got,, it failed its display by not using convetional rgb ,, (Same technology as the nexus) where they should have make it like s2's display,, and the design is just horrible,, ugly if you ask me,, also the cheap pathetic glossy plastic just makes it worse even s2 has better build,, and the difference is only in the benchmarks in real life you wont notice anything in htc one x, its smooth as hell,, so get ur facts right

Why everybody is so crazy about benchmarks they are bunch of junk. HTC is always faster in daily use with their sense over touch wiz. Not to mention it looks way better than touchwiz. one x has style looks superb with quality materials.

The best phone body to reduce Quad-core heat is polycarbonate. Because in polycarbonate, polymers containing carbonate groups are heat resistance. That’s why HTC is using polycarbonate body in this phone.
If you have over heating problems it may be manufacturing defeat. Call HTC service center and they will replace.
Quad-core and Dual-core phones heating up to some level when calling.
And one biggest advantage in polycarbonate is high scratch resistant.

Li-Po battery lifetime is very long. It’ll take more time to charge and the battery is long last.
Li-Po batteries never giving problems, because these batteries are durable than phones.
That’s why both iphone and Onex X batteries are non-removable, because you don’t want to remove batteries.
Li-Po batteries far better than Li-Ion batteries.
I’m 100% sure these batteries are not giving troubles to you for 3-4 years. (Li-Ion can be replaced with in 2 years)
If you unable use One X battery for two days in normal use that means your battery has manufacturing defeat. Call HTC service center and they will replace.
One more thing, Li-Ion batteries are really cheaper than Li-Po.

HTC are letting me down by manufacturing there phone in Mini Simcard support...
You know that its easy to shift from mini simcard to usuall Simcard, but from usuall Simcard to mini Scard !? Cant do unless you minimize by cuting with the help of Adaptor or bought a new one from the store...

does anyone have any suggestions for an app to replace the security pin lock? I don't like how the stock pin lock forces you to press "ok" once you've typed in your pin. It should be like the iPhone where if the pin is correct, the phone opens up straight away.
I've tried go locker but I don't like the "go" apps and don't want to have to install go theme as well.
