I just bought my htc one x! so far, I can't say anything but good! everything seems to be working very fine! it's really fast and not that big to hold. I'm not sure if s3 will outperform this, but so far, this is the best phone in the market.

Pray that the galaxy s3 has super amoled +++++++ or something else we don't know pray that it even has a screen that can beat htc super lcd2 or else its gonna be shit.

Still not convinced by the One X. There really isn't anything much there for me. I must admit, I was impressed by the way the camera worked in low light, probably the best I've seen, apart from my old Sony Ericsson Xperia arc and my new Sony Xperia S. That Exmor R really does make a difference. And I've heard all of this stuff about how fast the One X is at capturing photos, with its quad-core processor, but I don't really understand what the point is without a hardware key for the camera. I've certainly been using the fast capture on my Xperia S, where you just press and hold the camera key from sleep and it takes a picture so quickly - really appreciate that. Can't do that with the One X! And I haven't noticed any lag on my Xperia S, to make me think that a quad-core processor would make much difference. So I'm still happy that I've got the best Android phone on the market!

It does not feel smooth, and the interface looks dulllll.. It is not that responsive in the sense that I need to press HARD to make it respond. I own a HTC Fresstyle (yes its causes a lot trouble) but HTC sense still gives me better feel. Touchwiz fails.

give the battery some time to work it in... it takes a few cycles to improve. There are some hardware problems.. as with ALL devices. if you have them get the thing swaped. simple. I have the X for 3 week now. I had some issues with it at the begining but it all seems like a distant dream now. no problems with it. battery is great, no overheating, no screen banding.. NOTHING!
IT 'S JUST FLAWLESS ;)
ps. the Note is "better" only if you wish for a stylus haha, for that It's awesome.. otherwise get OneX, you won't be sorry.

Hi guys....Got HTC One X 3 days back...Trust me this phone is absolutely gorgeous ...stunning I would say however, as they say looks are secondary...
Here's what I have to say about this...
Hardware:
Beautifuly crafted phone , looks magnificent , feels solid...also, it doesn't feel that big in hand.
Software:
Sense UI just got even better, smooth as usual ...little effect can be noticed with ICS as its highly modified.
However, Things are not all that rosy....i am disappointed with the phone I got...numerous issues
1.Screen banding is big big issue ...little relief after update but it still exists.
2. The phone heats up like one burning pan....its almost untouchable ( good for people with extreme weather in their city : will keep them warm ) ehhrrr
3. Phone takes eternity to charge , also, many times phone doesn't response to charge....the light is on but the battery remains where it is( major issue)
4. BATTERY LIFE : its P.A.T.H.A.T.I.C simple pathetic...its drains like anything....charge takes 2-3 hours and the time taken for it to reach zero is woooaaah.
5. Notification bar doesn't show up almost every time......
Damn this phone is gorgeous but the problems it has will make you think twice before you go for this.
I would suggest if you can afford this size phone then go for Samsung Galaxy NOTE...its better...far better and responds well...
DISAPPOINTED with HTC ..hope they get all these issues sorted.

My friend bought one x and I played couple of hours with this baby.
So I have to say,
It’s really better than my sensation. The phone is big but it’s really comfortable with hand.
Polycarbonate body is rich looking than aluminum body.
Sense 4 interface is very beautiful and very smooth.
One X is really superb phone :)

Honestly speaking I've had this phone for over 2 weeks and I've had non of the issues u stated so my suggestion go get a replacement.

If you are hesitating to buy this phone, well just buy it. I've been using it for a month now and all i can say is that it's an amazing phone. It does everything nearly flawlessly and i'm extremely happy i bought it. It looks brilliant and don't be surprised if a small crowd flock around you every now and then just to have a glimpse at the phone. The music player with the headphones plugged in is absolute bliss and the camera makes well above average pictures.
My advice is to ignore all the negative comments. I guess these people are just frustrated fanboys who've got nothing to do than viewing the One X over and over again on gsmarena and not being able to buy it for whatever reason and as a result post comments to relief their frustration.
You want the One X, well go for it!!! It's the best phone i've ever used till date :D

[ ] Flash is yellow, makesnight shots terrible
[ ] Battery life, file in wrong place (Google it NvCPLSvc.apk)
[ ] Loose screen, which is now cracked
[ ] Screen flicker
[ ] Random blurs on screen
[ ] Phone overheats
[ ] Twice now phone has been pure black aand wouldn't turnback on
Vodafone is accepting the phone back damaged as there are so many problems with it.
Wish I waited for the s3!
Good phone but an unfinished one, a few more tweeks and it would have been amazing.

Im jumping ship from iPhone and Im choosing this device, wow even amongst the android community trolls are around lol well I hope those people who commented this phone isnt good would be wrong

I moved from iPhone to one x and I'm not sorry brilliant phone I love it only thing I would say is a negative is yes the battery isn't great but its got a huge screen so that's expected and it does take an age to charge if you can live with it then its a top phone
