For normal use 1800mAh battery on the one x is more than enough, the fifth core playing his part there.
And for extreme use it stands about 12-13 hours or 6hours of continuous video playback or we can play 3D games like RipTide(configured for TEGRA 3 Only) for 6-7 hours with WiFi on and with 50% screen brightness.

I don't underst... moreI bought the phone on 1st April. We always use our phones more when new. I got about 34 hours out of last charge. First day only 9 hours but with near continued usage and play... Great phone!

My last charge with my typical usage was more than 36 hours. And we all use our new phones more heavy than usual as we get to know the phone. This was an unusual purchase for me as I had the Samsung Nexus only 5 weeks before getting this ONE. I had a HTC Desire before that and found myself missing Touch features. This phone is no heavier than the Nexus and feels better in the hand. Already used NFC to port my contacts and data. With basically same operating system this phone is notably more pleasurable to use than my Nexus. Biggest disappointment with nexus was dropping it one foot onto floor from my couch cracked the screen! the rugged construction of HTC should prevent same fate with this one.The screen has to be seen in person to appreciate how good it is... Much nicer and crisper than the super smiled on the nexus. owning both I can say this ONE is hands down greater! Glad to be home to HTC... Don't miss the features ofmy old Desire S anymore!

I have this phone for a five days and it's the best phone and I have only one problem ( if you can call this a problem? )
Scrolling of contacts it's starting from B or C and not smut like by Note or Nexsus . Can anybody suggest niece contact application ?

Techradar and... moreAlmost all reviews talk about good or indeed impressive battery performance that last a day with "normal" moderate use... others that stated the battery life is bad were certainly making their review prior the recent software update wich improved the battery life substancially. I own One and can say the battery is proper for mobile device. It's not the best like the Razer MAXX or the much anticipated Evo One (woo.hoo) but the screen, speed, camera and the organic design are the key here. It ticks all the requirements and exceeds them properly. My latest phone was the Note (which is also an amazing device) so you'll know where I'm coming from. But now I have the One to rull them all. :)

The battery life is horrendous. I'm posting this on one x and charged it for the second time today at 3PM whilst at work.
It wants charging again tonight.
Only got it Monday and I'm going into town tomorrow to take it back.
Either a refund or another device.
