I agree that it should have an expansion slot
but the trend is for more onboard memory and cut the cost of the card reader
most customers will sadly prefer this as they know no better

no microsd slot is a joke, i think if u want to put many shows, movies, games etc after a year or so you are gonna wish there was a microsd slot so this is a big failure like apple and their crappy iphones..

HTC removed the MicroSD card reader and FM from their Flagship model, why would they do that? Different people have different needs, I for sure need more than 26gb (user accessible). They market the HTC One X as a high end HD media phone, fill it with HD movies ( to connect to a TV for example ), quality FLAC albums, video from onboard camera, apps, navi, etc and soon I am short in shortage by a big margin from my own experience.
I was really looking forward to this phone. It is incredible, but Removing FM and MicroSD only saves a couple of dollars and they hardly take physical space. It's a tough decision.

They are removing the MicroSD slot. There by making the Phone memory as our only source for data. Basically they are saying. If you want more Memory, buy the much more expensive version of this phone. Epic Fail.

stop raging like there is something stuckup you! the HTC One series do not have microSD card slots because the cards cannot read fast enough and keep up with the rest of the phone such as the camera! It won't read fast enough to save photos while shooting continuous video! do some research before you bash this powerful phone

Apple, 02 Mar 2012..well in my opinion, one wont really need that overpowered... moredon't forget quad core is much better for multi tasking & also some games will be looking more graphical on Nvidia Tegra 3 like Riptide GP more visuals & effects. :)

I am going to buy it, its so much superior to Galaxy Nexus because nexus is 16GB without SD Card slot, this HTC 1x is 32GB (26GB User Accessible) without SD Card but with 25GB Dropbox storage for 2 years so I think this one is better because 26GB+26GB = 52GB also this one is with HTC Sense 4.0 (most liked & favourite UI on planet)also what I am liking in this so much is 4.7 inch HD Display & Nvidia Tegra 3 (4 Plus 1) !!!! YEAH !!! I AM A GAMER also watching HD movies will surely look good on this Smarty, I don't care for no radio in it I can listen to online internet radio, SO ITS A SURE BUY FOR ME :D !!!!! CHEERS !!!!!

1. The best selling smartphone in the history of earth is iphone which NEVER had SD card slot.
2. 32gb + 24gb online storage, why the HELL you need more? Pictures, you can take thousands and lots of videos and STILL have memory for shit load of mp3 songs. You want bluray movie? YOU ARE so stupid to put 24gb bluray rip on a mobile? You can have amazing quality 720p movie rip for around 2gb...
3. The polycarbonate body is shit you prefer the aluminium? Let me remind you that this kind of plastic is better quality than the aluminium and if it gets scratched IT WONT loose the colour since the colour is deep inside which becomes part of the plastic. PLUS ITS so much better for wi-fi etc signal.
PLEASE PLEASE stop freaking complaining and try to understand most of you crying is plain stupid.

Well i think internal memory vs Sd card, Internal memory always have an edge over the External memory. For instance look at the sensation xl it only has the internal memory and i have used that phone for couple of days and honestly i felt it more smoother then my Sensation XE with Transcend 16gb Class 10 sd card. Although XE has Dual core 1.5 and where the XL has Single core 1.5 , So i am sure the One X with quad core gonna be the smooth phone in htc history specially with the new sense 4.0 which is very clean and the most fastest sense.
