I bought my One X when they were first out, in early 2012, so it came with the Beats earplugs and all the extra fittings for folk with odd shaped ears. Battery life was good while about a month ago so I replaced the battery with the higher capacity (2.1Ah vs 1.8Ah) one intended for the One X+ and now the thing lasts for around two days, switched off each night, on a single charge against the one day at the same pattern of usage on the original battery.
Genuine new battery was under £10 (allow a couple of Pound for the required plastic plectrums and the tiny Philips screwdriver if you don't already have the tools for the job - which isn't hard to do) so when new handsets come with extra stuff that I actually need, then I'll think of moving it on but while then, the One X is still ahead of most of the newer entry level handsets and the high end ones have nothing necessary as we have no 4G, only Edge, so the only connection that matters is the wifi, which has always worked well.
If only they'd fitted this battery as standard once the phone was new...

A great phone with great hardware for 2012,its still pretty good today.But the gorilla glass is useless,drop it once or twice on the screen and it will get FULLY SHATTERED(cracked).The touchscreen will still work though.

geru, 26 Sep 2015Man its 3 years old phone ...none of a company will have sp... moreHTC sell all the spares you'd ever need. Mine hasn't gone wrong but I recently fixed an HOX for someone at work and the battery, sim compartment cincher and new screen all came from the UK concessionaire.

I got mine when they first came out because it came with the Beats headset and loads of different buds to fit other people and Star Trek aliens. Its the only blower Ive had for longer than the year contract and is working as well now as it did new, three and a half years since. Brilliant bit of kit and unless 4G ever comes to my area I don't need anything different for the foreseeable.

the best phone i have, they have 5 cors of cpu one is for battery saveing and the gpu on phone isgreat at scale 1-100 it's 110 hehe great phone
