If it was refurbished it will say "refurbished counter " and have the number of times and dates it was refurbished. I have had phones that didnt say refurbish counter at all which means its not. But u might see it say refurbished counter. Then 0 underneath. Which means its never been refurbished. Thats how u can tell. Hope this helped

I have the s3 and I LOVE IT. My daughter however wants the htc one x (cause her phone just bricked up after almost 2 years) so i came in here looking at the user opinions (like i do all phones before buying) and have seen more negative comments than good about this phone. So i will not be spending all that money for this phone. However u should get the battery checked out somehow. More than likely ur phone is gonna have to be replaced if u do however leave the one x phone try the s3. But either way good luck sweetie!!!

Its rated the number one smartphone from cnet and about ur comment...maybe u cant move ur apps to ur sd card on the s3 but at least we have an sd card slot unlike the htc one x. Which means if and when u get a new phone ur pictures ur contacts n music wont transfer like it can with the s3. I have the same 16gb sd card i been using since i started using smartphones 2 years ago and ALL my music n pics r still there and little by little i develope them dont knock the s3 until u have used it. Just like im not putting down ur phone, however i do know that u have NO sd card availability so who cares whether or not we can put apps on it. We have plenty of internal memory to care about putting them on it anyway

I have bought htc one x around 2 months, and I really enjoy the performance of the phone. Since one day, the OTA Jelly Bean come and then I follow their instruction to install the update software. I don't know what happen everything gone bad after update to jelly bean. My phone stuck and restart in every second. I tried to factory reset but thing seem get worse. I don't know what to say but why the OTA 4.1 make my phone a brick.

If it is dropping, then its a known fault with a missing mylar connector on the wifi antenna. Send it away as its a basic repair & I just received mine back from T-mobile fixed & good as new.
Love this phone despite the wifi issue's & JB runs likea dream

Samsung you have so many problems and defects, I am very very happy that I went with the HTC one x.. Orelse I would curse myself for getting sucha crap phone for that price.. Once a samsung, never a samsung again is what I learnt after getting my first samsung, star 3g when touch screens were rare n now I see samsung hasn't changed a bit, its the same old boring useless interface.. That day I was comparing s3 to my one x at the mall, s3 literally has half the brightness of one x when brightness is kept maximum on both phones..
There is a feature called smart sync on the hox email app with acts like push email for any email client.
There is no push email on the gs3 native app except for hotmail and gmail thru exchange.
There is true smart dialling on the hox the one on the gs3 totally sucks.
The contacts link with all fb twitter and linked in is awesome sense ui the gs3 fails here
The sense ui is way better then the touch wiz
You cant move apps to the sd card on the GS3
The touchscreen response is better on the hox
The photo quality on the hox is much better and the camera app is better too.
There is no pink spot issue on the hox the gs3 continues to suffer this
The social hub has been removed on the gs3 so u cant have social widget integration.
I think the hox design is slimmer and curved which makes it easier to hold and feels nice

Very good phone. However, need to be careful about the screen. Seems that it is not as strong as the others, 1 month, a few scratches already on it. Also, very very thirsty on power. Nevertheless, best phone I have used.
