h bought it for my friend and overall X9 is so great for midranges level.camera,sound, display all are great,battery is good enough and the body quality is so good. this is dual active but when use one of them the other is out of work(like other new dual sim, I had desire 600 and it was real dual active). Helio X10 processor is shit. It is slower than 3 years old Snapdragon 801. HTC is fooling its fans with this processor. And priced $400. The best price for it, is $270. Mediatek processors consumes battery very much and heats too. Another failure from HTC.

This is not a dual active. Its a dual stand-by phone. Hence while you are active on SIM1 line your SIM2 will not work. Whereas in a dual active even when you are active on SIM1 you will get a call on your SIM2.

HTC freak, 06 Apr 2016I am wondering the battery life of this phone with 2.xGHz o... moreI have my X9 for 2 weeks now and I'm far from happy. Hopefully charging cycle is still not finished as it is still new and I should be able to get more from the battery. with regular use, it would only last 23 hours max with Data always on and WIFI (depends where am I). With that 23 hours though I get 5 hours 30 minutes screen time. Also the standby discharge is horrible. for 6 hours standy with wifi on (at night) it would discharge for up to 10-13%. so Imagine full charged 100% and then you go to sleep only to check in the morning that the battery dropped 13%. I don't know really if I should continue to use this phone.

With this phone, people can reach you by calling ANY of both number(you don't have to specify which sim to be active). But once a call is established, you won't be able to receive call from another sim until you hang up the current call.
