Hopefully GSMArena will make a review sooner or later. This device seems rather interesting and unique, and HTC are definitely improving.

M7 user, 26 Jan 2016GSMarena, we are waiting for review!!!!what? review? for htc? no brother!!!!!!! most of htc phones have no review and gsm doesn't like to wright about them. WHY? maybe it reduces Samsung or apple marketing and selling!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it's better you wait for user experiences ( and many lie from other fans between them ). this is gsm arena and doesn't like htc :(

For INR-25K, this is one top-notch phone from HTC! And people complaining here should stfu! It's a brilliant phone phone for the price. Metal body, Boomsound/Dolby stereo speakers, 3 Gigs of RAM, a 5.5-inch 1080p display, a pretty huge battery, a 13MP shooter capable of taking pics in RAW, 2K video recording, 32GB ROM with a 200GB expansion of storage, Optical Image Stabilization, an amazing theme engine and software, Android Marshmallow on-board and the elegant, beautiful and light Sense UI. All this packed into a phone under INR-25K? Count me in!
People complaining about the One X9 not being a 2K screen- Doesn't really make a huge difference from 1080p. Google it if you have to. Besides, It's got a PPI of 401. If that ain't good enough, then I don't know what is.
For those of you 'demanding' for finger-print scanners. That's debatable. But I for one, don't really want one on my phone. It's just too gimmicky for me. But then again, that's just me. Also, if you put in a fingerprint lock on your phone, all the motion gestures like tap to unlock becomes pretty much obsolete.
Now for those of you complaining about the MediaTek CPU and Graphic chipsets- Hakuna your ta-tas. It's more than capable of handling pretty much every app or activity thrown at it. You guys want an overkill with the Snapdragon 810, which also has a serious heating issue, might I add. Also, it's a mid-ranger. Not a flagship phone. If you were paying INR-40K or more for this phone, it'd be understandable. But you're not. So don't complain for the sake of it.
And those of you comparing this phone to the prices of the OnePlus Two and other low-cost low-branded phones- For goodness sake! Metal uni-body, amazing build quality and quick software updates. For more, look at the specs again. And I must admit that HTC has been guilty of overpricing their phones in the past, but this phone isn't.
Now, as great as a phone this is, I do have a couple of qualms.
One, the navigation keys- I hope HTC keeps an option for it's potential buyers to have an option in-built into the phone's software enabling us to choose between on-screen and off-screen use of navigation buttons. Personally, I prefer the on-screen ones.
Two, I've noticed the absence of the app drawer from every pic of the One X9 I've seen online. I prefer the presence of an app drawer. Gives an android feel to it.

AnonD-86645, 23 Jan 2016HTC must come back to snap dragon HTC must have new idea ... moreCompletely agree with u. I belive that htc still has the power to take back its rank. Just as the m7 was one of its most successful smartphones , and also my favourite one.

AnonD-86645, 23 Jan 2016HTC must come back to snap dragon HTC must have new idea ... moreso your suggesting this phone should of came with a snapdragon 810?? if so you better be jokeing because the only reason why it has the X10 is because the 810 can't handle itself and likes to over heat.. the X10 is a fast enough processor unless you want to best of everything...
