Overpriced compared to lenovo k4 note and xiaomi redmi note 3, the price should be around 280$

Been digging around the net and found that the X9 reportedly supports RAW photo capture.
Looks like HTC means business here even though X9 seems rather ordinary initially.
OIS, 4k video, RAW, dual LED ...

Keep it up HTC and build the momentum to the flagship One M10

Finally the specs page I have been waiting for.
If only HTC launch it in my country sooner than later...
The Chinese price is decent at 2399 & hope it would not come here with too much premium.

It will not compete without a fingerprint sensor as xperia c5 ultra.

Overall this seems to be a good phone. I am happy they finally started to make smaller devices. This one is smaller than the Desire 820 for example, and both have the same screen size.
The design is very good, we have the front facing stereo speakers, and I for example do not really care if a phone lacks a fingerprint sensor.
I wonder if there will be or not a gold version.
What HTC need to do, is to not sell this on a really high price, because this is not a high-end device, but a high-mid range one.

Anonymous, 27 Dec 2015This is mid-range device not highend. With 3000 battery ... moreThis is overpriced HTC we are talking about. Add another 200 to that price tag and you might be at the right price!

Arengium, 27 Dec 2015Bad design, no fingerprint. Capacitive buttons. With specs... moreGood design. Fingerprint reader is not needed and capacitive buttons are better than on-screen ones. On-screen buttons take up space. When you buy a 5.5 inch phone with on-screen buttons, usable space is around 5.2 inches.

They could've put the Snap dragon 810 v2.0 And the Adreno 430 Gpu With a Higher resolution camera and if possible a fingerprint Scanner As my HTC one m9 is Only let down by a bad camera
