HTC P3300 is a great pocket PC phone. Pl. guide me to start the GPS system, so I canuse the Naviation maps for any big cities travel.

I am using HTC P3300 device and want to use its GPS functions. I have installed many 3rd party GPS applications but I am unable to find the current location using these programs.
What settings do i need to make in my device to support its GPS chip with these applications.
Any help is appreciated!

Can someone tell me ...
if someone steals our phone can it be detected by gps with the help of company (HTC) itself by permanently actvating gps on the phone as it is in the case of samsung mobile phone.

my htc p3300 is awesome except that the gps does not want to work. It just doesn't catch my current position at all.some pls post sugestions pls.

Update to WM6 and install the sdhc.cab:

I used all top quality mobile phones but the HTC P3300 is the best of them all,now my next buy will b HTC Cruise.

WiFi - Yes, as long as you do not get the re-branded one from T-Mobile (MDA Compact III).
SDHC memory cards work as long as you have Windows Mobile 6 installed, and run a patch (availible from www.forums.xda-developers.com)
That website is very good, and has all the info you need on HTC phones :)

I bought a used one 2 month ago. I can say that it is a wonderful phone! I just installed the windows 6.1 (unofficial) on it, and it's perfect. I would have wanted extra memory and processing power to make it better, but it is still ok.

I have been using this phone for 3 months and find it quite good. Recently I have started facing a problem - the storage memory shows total space as 37.36 MB, I have not stored any data but still it shows used memory 36.37 and keeps on saying low memory. What could be the problem? ( I am not able to find any large files when I search using the built in file explorer. Can someone help?

Hi guys. I just this P3300 a week ago I wonder how it GPS work? Can i use it just like the GPS devide just like to measure the size of the land, track my trip or compass?
