I owned this phone yesterday. The GPS unit is very powerfull and the batteries stand still for hours with it on. Very light, slim, cut phone. I am so glad.. never liked PDAs but it changed my mind :P

Dutch T-Mobile version has Wi-Fi built in, and has two contentpackages, one with only a 1GB memory

and one with the Europe GPS software included.

I had the SPV M3100 last year and from January I'm using P3300. Execellent machines.
Takes some time to get back the signal, after is losing it - i.e. after I'm leaving the underground parking area, I had to check the phone function. Sometimes to turn on flight mode and then to turn off flight mode. No other issues.

The best device I ever used! Processor overclocked by Battery Status, 286MHz, everything is OK. GPS works great, I use "iGo 2006", there are a lot of maps in the Internet for many countries. Must have!
Battery life is short using WiFi for a long time (like i-net radio), but there are some 2400mAh optional accus in our market.

I purchased the P3300 eight months ago. Functionally, it's a great phone, but... a few weeks ago my screen went white (not blank, white). I was instructed to ship it to Houston for repairs.

I had to call them 4 times (and wait 3 weeks) before they told me that I had abused the screen and it would cost me $150 to fix it... or else. Never mind the phone is under warranty.

First, I'm a long time IT guy who knows his way around delicate equipment. I've used PDAs for 13 years, and I never had a problem with a screen. How they came to that conclusion I'll never know.

I wrote HTC-America and they apologized for the long wait... but not a word about the alledged "abuse". Take it or leave it, so to speak... So I'm paying $150 because I need the phone.

Keep that in mind before you buy another HTC product.

I have installed some software on my P3300 called Battery Status and there is an option under Omap where you can increase the processor speed.I have increased mine from 201Mhz to 221Mhz and it is a lot faster.BUT it does drain the battery quicker.

The maximum you can increase the processor speed to is 300Mhz but I won't risk it.

You can download the Cab file free.Type in Battery Status in the search box on your PC and click on search.
