A great phone !!!! A must have in India for the GPS is fantastic and very helpful. If it is priced around 16000/- will eat up nokia market

Hello HCT community. Yesterday my wife bought a Sony Ericson P1i. Nice machine but not really my thing. I like to replace 3 things in one in the near futur. My old help Nokia 6230, yes you have read it correct, my portable Becker navi and my Toshiba PDA E330. Is this new phone the good choise?
Or is there a better option like perhaps Nokia E95 or waiting for the SE P5i ???

I have had my P3300 for 2 months now. I am very pleased with my purchase. A couple of learning curve issues, not surprising as it is such a sophisticated machine. Would like to have WM6 but seems that it is not available from the HTC site. Any suggestions?

I have tested all in my htc p3300 the best iGO My way GPS navigation software,easy install and work great,3d ...etc

I have an P3300 for eight months and I'm happy about it.
There are a few issues such as the display isn't very clear in direct sun light but noting much.
The Windows Mobile interface isn't very good compared to mobile phones but there are applications that solve that such as SPB Mobile Shell (this one is a must).
HTC as officially released a free update to WM6 and it worked fine, my device is a little faster. The official update doesn't have the VoIP features enabled by default but this info is available online (http://htcupdate.googlepages.com/).
The integrated GPS is very useful, it's nice to have a all in one gadget, if I wanted to buy a new phone now this would still be my choice

I just got my 3300 here in Doha Qatar, and I am having trouble changing ringtones. Can I not use MP3's for a ring tone on this phone? This can't really be the case can it?
I also am wondering what is the best GPS software to purchase/download? Will I be abl to find maps for the middle east?

Will any body know, does P3300 has group smsing service, like under one group say "frineds" one sms goes to all the numbers stores in that group.
Like what we have in Nokia and Sony phones.

Does anyone know how do i change the Tone for the Alarm? the default tone is damn irritating... otherwise i love my PDA. it is the best i've used....

I bought HTC 3300 a few days back and like it very much but I have one problem. I don't like the green background! I changed the profile to Windows and TODAY screen has turned blue but the phone dialer is still green. Is there any way to change that?

why is it that everytime i read the comments, i have to read them all before i get the info i need. give me the pros and cons in a list. known problems and links to upgrades etc. and use a q&a blog for the other comments. would be nice that if you post a question, that the answer be referred to by either a number format of some sort. plse let me know who agrees with this. tks
