The HTC s710 vox is a fantastic phone! No complaints about it. Just a question: Can this phone be used as a modem? Im having some difficulty using it as a modem on my pc. Anyone please advise??!!!

I've always used high end windows based mobiles for my business and surely this phone SUCKS BIG TIME...!!! Changed it within 1 month.
Don't waste your money, go for a better model, say, from Nokia. This model is not in production as well, so it would surely not have a good resale value!

I thought that this windows mobile would be great for my requirements and purchased it... but for someone who prefers a simple mobile, this is not your cup of tea! However, it might suit you, if you prefer a complete windows based mobile (if you use all of its features!). Further, you can only view office documents like excel, etc, not edit it. I've been experiencing problems such as the phone 'blanking out' (if I could call it that way), slow... very slow operational capacity, etc...
Overall a disappointment... rating 3/10 (for someone who is not used to a windows based mobile). The biggest horror is that I purchased this phone for INR 12,500 and dealers are willing to take in exchange for just INR 2,750.. I bought this very disappointing model just 6 months back... will never switch from a nokia/samsung again!!!
MY Verdict: Don't go for this phone!!!

hi i'm having problemin conecting my s710 with other mobiles any ideas how i can overcome this problem.
sometimes it gets connected but when the other person sends me data it says unable to send data it has happened with me with 4 diff mobiles i'hv tried everything that i know please please please help me

It's a good phone, sometimes using the wi-fi becomes a little slow but the other things and the windows live is almost perfect.

the phone is giving me problems it keep switching itself off and getting stuck while on the call.i don't actually know what exactly to do.

Candy, 17 Feb 2009This is one of the worst phones that I have ever used. I s... moredude if you feel that this phone sucks probably you just dont know how to use a windows phone. As for your P1i no doubt its good in its category but don't forget that P1i uses a symbian UIQ3 interface and this is a windows OS. So better don't compare the two in functions. There are many limitations in UIQ3 which probably you are not aware of being a normal user but technically don't degrade Windows UI. Ask around yourself what a windows device means. It's a thing to respect. If you are not compatible with them don't use it.
