Been using that phone for more than 1 year and still very happy with it. It seems reliable and if you can manage to update the ROM and tweak it (overclocking, installing 3rd party utilities, etc.) you will get the most of it. Only complaint : the speakerphone sound like crap

gprs setting - we have to do manually in htc s710, but manually also i cant able to do, please anyone can help me out.

Windows UI user, 20 Apr 2009dude if you feel that this phone sucks probably you just do... moreI am more than capable of using a windows phone, infact I managed to swop my htc for a nokia with windows mobile and it is a dream to use unlike that htc which was a nightmare. There seem to be alot of conflicting reviews here though...

The mp3 message alert tone that I bluetooth doesn't go off if I start reading my message. Lack of Flash or light on camera doesnt take nice photo's when light is not so bright outside

I've had the phone for almost three weeks now and i've gotta say i like it, the only problem is i struggle to hear the voices when i make or receive calls. The reception is great...just not sure what's happening...the voices keep cracking up.....

No it is not correct, you can one SMS to as many receipient as you would like..I have had this phone for 6 months and it is quite good for what it is.
Only if you can pay more, then get one with faster processor which is very important factor in purchasing PDAs.

PLEASE HELP!!!!! I have heard so many conflicting answers to my question i dont what to do anymore... I am upgrading and i've wanted this phone forever but now have people who tell me that you cant send and sms to more than one recipient at once (in other words i have to send the same sms to 20 reipients one at a time) and also that there is no group sending of sms's. As i communicate mostly through sms's this eill be a decideng facor between chosing this phone(which i really really want) or settling for nokia. Anyone out there who actually has this pone - please let me know...

I would definitely say that the HTC S710 is a good phone, but it also has its limitations. The only bad thing is that once your phone has a number of files stored on Phone memory or Memory card it gets rather slow and poor to button inserts. I would rather recommend the Touch VIVA or the TOUCH DIAL

I've just ordered one and should be here by Monday, but i'm so scared about it after the reviews i've just read..most of them tip to the bad.. I'm going off a Nokia E61i.. Is this a bad move? I have no experience whatsover with wimdows mobile other than just a quick check on a friend's mobile..

judgin' by the specs and it's shape,i think it definately the way to go!!I just got it on contract but they are delayed by stock issues bt definately this week.
