I like this phone so far.... its the smallest smartphone with a full keyboard.
If it had GPS it would be perfect. I prefer having a phone with normal dialing pad and not touch because its not as quick

The phone is a nice phone but a problem i have with it is that if you put a mp3 as your text message ringtone it don't stop playing when the text is being read, it only stops when the entire mp3 is completed. Is the a fix for this?

For the alarm to work, the phone has to remain on. If your reason for turning off the phone is to conserve enry then jst put the phone in flight mode.

The phone is really nice. But it should have been equipped with an auto-focus camera. It's also imho quite too fat. The numeric keypad could have been better.
It's a shame that it has such a powerful cpu and has rather slow interface, including the one for taking pictures :(
But the full qwerty keypad is something really nice. WM itself is also really good. I used to have a Nokia 9300 (the one without wi-fi) and I think HTC S730 is a good phone to choose when your 9300 is getting old =)

Hi, I'm looking at buying this phone as did like the s710 but held back 'cos of lack of 3G. Just need to know a few things. Is the processor any quicker than the Tytn II, what's the battery life like on average & how easy is it to use?
Thanks

Don't Buy this phone or any other with Qualcomm MSMXXXX HTC has refused to develope proper drivers for the graphic processor built in which causes this phone to run at a substandard rate much lower than much older phones.
