Anonymous, 31 Aug 2008Best looking phone on the market so far in my opinion. Beau... moreHmmm.... call me weird, but i prefer Windows Mobile Standard edition with just a numeric keypad. I'm not into touchscreens very much. I would go for HTC Touch Diamond though in a glimpse if it wasn't for the high price. Here in Greece, HTC Touch Diamond costs 550 euros, too much for a university student.

High speed CPU combined with a small capacity battery means miserable stand-by and talk time. This is more like a toy than a useful tool to professionals. But again, many of us here are really looking for toys ...

The combination of a high speed CPU and a low-capacity battery, plus the resource demanding WM operating system, means miserable stand-by and talk time per charge. More a toy than a useful tool for business people.

yes the pro is more powerful and all, but i think this is just for a different crowd of ppl then the pro is

Best looking phone on the market so far in my opinion. Beautiful and elegant simplicity, looks like the Monolith from the Kubricks Space Odyssey. Quite big, but lot of ppl like big phones. Hope it will be a bit cheaper than Touch Pro.

I wish there was an HTC Windows Mobile Standard phone without QWERTY keyboard. The same specs with S740, but slimmer and lighter. Love the processor, the RAM, the Wifi and the GPS but hate thickness and weight. I personnaly don't need a QWERTY keyboard, and even if i would i 'd use a bluetooth foldable one. No need to be under the phone. I'm very much into portability!
