I got the phone yesterday.
I find it an excellent device. Experienced no problems with low volume etc. Battery life is short though but what to expect of dual core 1.2ghz cpu?

Just taken delivery of the HTC Sensation on Vodafone. Great apart from one thing. Sound quality is DREADFUL hissy as an old AM Radio-as bad as a Motorola mr30 back in 1996-the WORST handset I ever owned.Think this is faulty so back to Vodafone in Nottingham tomorrow for an exchange!

I upgraded from desire S to the sensation, then used the sensation for a week and got the Galaxy S 2. after using the galaxy s 2, I realized that it dosent even come close to the sensation in terms of the UI, so i changed my galaxy s 2 for a new sensation once again, & i must say HTC Sensation is an AMAZING phone, in my opinion no android phone can currently match the awesome experience once can have using the Sensation. Well done HTC the Sensation is a 100% winner in my opinion. Looking forward to the EVO 3d :D

we all know htc makes some very good phone but 1 gb internal memory come on what happen to 8 gb or 16 gb internal memory with 1 gb of memory aint much apps you can store to the phone and not all apps can be run from the sd card

I love this phone, had it over a week now and im happy with it. People you dont even need a screen protector for this if you keep it in a case when not in use but if you are use to placing it in your pocket with keys and or a bag with other objects then get one. I had no problem wiht it, the batt drains but what do you expexct? its dual core plus many of you be playing with it a lot & having a lot of programs running at once duh! But its a great device and the UI is UNIQUE unlike LG & Samsung whos UI is similar to iOS own... Thanks HTC i loovvvee iiitttt & im pleased!!

I have used HTC Desire before and I upgraded to HTC Sensation. I am very disappointed. HTC Sensations call volume, ringtone volume, Music volume are terribly low. I even wrote to HTC about it and they are suggesting me to try any application from android market which will increase my volume. Gosh, I have not heard of any application which can increase phone's ringtone and call volume.
I never expected I will face such issues with so called best phone from HTC. Desire was much better!

The device's audio volume (call volume, ringtone volume, music volume) are too low. I have used HTC Desire before, it was way better in this aspect. Are your sensation's audio outputs ok?
And I have put pattern lock on my phone, it gets stuck a number of times when I try to unlock it. Not liking its touch sensitivity. Could it be because of the scratch guard?

Use battery life very very low we want minimum 2500mah battery should be and camera performance very better

I have had my sensation for a week know and must say very impressed.
I had a iphone 3g and not sure whether to go for sensation or iphone 4.
I was a bit concerned about switching from apple to htc but after reading reviews and having a play in shop found that maybe htc needed a go.
I think apple will bring out iphone 5/6 early next year which will be a dual core phone and i did not want the same slow performance that the 3g suffered when they brought out the iphone 4.
secondly i was a bit bored off having to launch itunes just to get anything onto to phone.
Now for the sensation yes it is differant yes the battery does drain alot (i have been downloading and playing apps all day) and i charge every night but it is a smart phone i would expect this.
the screen is superb but the big fact for me is it`s like lighting fast true compared to 3g what would not be but my bruv has the iphone 4 and i think it`s quicker than that.
One last thing try to find a web site that compares the sensation to the iphone 4 there aint many which puts the sensation in a differant class.
i am very happy with it and as an ex iphone user (and yes i would go back to apple when there phones catch up) was very dubious about switching im glad i did ....

A big dissapointment for me... i will definitely give it back and buy some other phone....

HTC Sensation sucks seriously. Battery easy flat for just for almost half day. This phone also wont tough enough to support when u drop it. I dropped mine and the whole thing just came off. The whole screen turns blue.unlike my 3310. I tink it drops more den 10 times.stil functioning.sigh..poor HTC
