Yes HTC phones are a thicker then Samsungs, Samsung phones feel cheap and flimsy in the hand. I like how HTC phones feel tough and durable, after all don't you want a phone that lasts?

HTC is heavier because samsung makes phones with plastic. However HTC makes them with aliminium.

Specification looks fine. Does anyone have more detailed information about the display? Is it similar to the Motorola Atrix?

AnonD-5889, 16 Apr 2011I agree with you, but you think the lower number of pixels ... moreit's possible, if Samsung make a qHD screen SGS2 we can do a fair test, else we can't. anyway i don't care benchmarks because i won't play Crysis 2 with my phone. And if game makers want to sell their games, meanwhile they should be think medium hardware phones.
i love this phone and if it hasn't any critical problem, i think i'll buy it :)

neo, 16 Apr 2011hello everybody. I am confused between sensation and SGS 2.... moreIt should be your decision, because both phones has advantages and disadvantages. At the moment i think that I would buy SAMSUNG Galaxy S II (but my opinion still may change).
P.S.
HTC phones camera quality (video/photo) is worst than Samsung, iPhone, Nokia or Sony Ericsson. Let's wait and see how it looks on HTC Sensation.

hello everybody. I am confused between sensation and SGS 2. Sensation has sense UI , better usability and data backup on sense.com, on other hand , SGS 2 has better technology which is reflected in its speed. Pls tell me which one to buy.. Thanx..

Can you Guys do A preview of the HTC Sensation like the one you did for the Samsung Galaxy SII? I would like to make a choice on which one to purchase when they're avalable. Samsung always seem to have the most cutting edge technology, but I'm afraid of their notorious after sales support and the cheap materials they insist on using for their high end products. HTC on the other hand has better quality materials (giving a nice hefty feel in hand I presently have a Desire Z and love that about it) BUT they always seem to use suspect technology (Hinge on said Desire Z for example). Every High end product requires some compromise on the end users part; I'm just trying to figure out which ones I should make this time. The weak hinge on the desire Z really causes me to regret my purchase.

AnonD-4349, 15 Apr 2011SGS2 firstly must to do qHD screen, then we can compare to ... moreI agree with you, but you think the lower number of pixels on Galaxy S ll makes this 2x Different points in tests?!!!! ;-) (Sry For my Bad EnG too!!)

The specs look great, an updated version of the HTC HD but as well as improving on the pros on the HD it seems to have inherited the poor battery life genes aswell...

I'm really looking forward to buy this smartphone. The dual-core processor is a big and positive step. And with the new HTC Sense, it's going to be a very beautiful piece of device.
Anyone know the release date in Malaysia? I hope it'll be around the end of May/early June.

i wud anyday prefer galaxy s2 because of its ram ....as a lot of apps in the future might need 1gb of ram,i like the htc sense better compared to touchwiz but i never want to risk it at the cause of my apps.

One of the thing why I respect NOKIA, because they make "Stress Tests" for their phones.
Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zES6byXbOaE
For some reasons I don't think that such kind of test make HTC for their phones.

It looks just like Desire HD. They could have made it better looking by moving the ear piece from front to top and extending the glass area till top.
