Hi Guys, From last 2 weeks i am facing a very annoying problem with my phone; restarting after a few mins once the WIFI is turned on. The phone works fine on 3g al day but once i get home and connect to my wifi the problem starts.
When WIFI is switched on, the phone connects and disconnects from the signal a few times. The connection becomes stable after a min or so, But usually after 10 - 15 mins of browsing it just restarts without any warning. After restaring it connects back and the same issue surfaces again.
Any1 facing the same issue?. The phone is on Gingerbread 2.3.4. I called customer care and they asked me to do a factory reset. I did that, but a same issue resurfaced after a couple of hours.
Please let me know if there is anyway to get past this.

ICS Issue....
HTC India CC to Me:: Sir, there are still 4 more days left in this month..Official deadline was March-June..And Before this month gets end, we'll Release the Update..
Me:: Ok fine, we keep patient for 4 days...
Countdown Starts....
Otherwise on July 1st...HTC India.. u'll definately gonna be UNLUCKY...

Our service providers and their team is lazy, then wat can we do....!!!!!!
I hope...the update should release in 4 days...hope....
Otherwise...HTC India will be fired on 1st July....

Couple of weeks ago i posted about poor battery experience i had with my sensation. I was ready to buy a mungen battery, when suddenly my battery went from 20 hours up to 70ish. I think the battery loading cycle ended, and battery went super resistant. What i did was draining battery till 0% and then loading it up to 100% after couple of weeks, battery can be used now for 3 days, i uses emails, little browsing, phone and take couple do photos, so moderate use.
I also installed battery juice app, and use my internet plan instead wifi for net browsing. I think if you proper format the battery cycles it will help battery to work for 2-3 days, as charging battery every 16-20 hours it;s not a good perspective.

I had this phone for 8 months:
- case color faded after 3 months
- volume button stopped working after 6 months
- power button stopped working after 8 months rendering the phone useless

Those who are using sensation in INDIA I request you all to leave a feedback or leave the opinion on the HTC website. because the customer care people don't even have a clue when ICS updates are really available. They are simply biding the time. Its really waste of time to call them.
Again request all to contact them on http://www.htc.com/in/contact/ and hope they know about our interests also.

I live in Mumbai.
They said exact date is not available.
But it should be available by JUNE end. Fingers crossed.
