When is the ICS upgrade going to be released for Sensation? Getting tired of waiting. HTC had said it would be released by end of March which is just one week away now!

Mine its made in taiwan,have it for 5 months now and not a dot of dust.

Update it with ICS manually,dont wait untill u recieve it ota.

DominicB, 22 Mar 2012Guys I will buy this phone on sunday but I am so worried ab... moreDon't buy because my phone still have dust although I bought it 6 months ago and the screen been replaced at least 5 times and the phone has been replaced too but still dust accumulates after a while. Some of my friends don't have this issue although I doubt it maybe they didn't see tiny dust because of screen protector or bad vision. Trust me if you want a good HTC phone buy Xl or try the new models, heck buy Galaxy Nexus and sleep peacefully.

These are nice features, but I'm concerning more about the day use performance.
I know that I could improve its performance with custom ROMs, but I still hope that HTC address most of these improvements in its ICS.
And about the non-branded phone's update, how HTC release its updates? Their release dates are normally worldwide or by country/region?

I'm going to buy a new phone but I can't really decide which one is better. Incredible S or Sensation.
I first looked to the Galaxy (S,SL,S+), but after comparing them with the HTC Incredible S, the build quality and better UI attracted me more.
I was going to buy the HTC IS, but then I saw that the Sensation was almost the same price here (10 USD of diff). So I went back to the "which one is better?".
In the paper the Sensation was much better, but in the reviews don't. People say that the screen of HTC IS is better and the dual-core doesn't help much the Sensation in the overall performance (they say it lags). But since most of these review are from last year, I was wondering if HTC had improved its performance.
Otherthing is that both phones will be updated to ICS (What I think it means that both will also have the HTC sense 4.0, right?) So the better hardware would make difference after the update, at least in theory.
So what should I pick?

micky, 21 Mar 2012will some one do me a favour? i have had the sensation for ... moreMicky Htc sense is the custom user interface for the htc phones. Phones like samsung, htc, sony ericsson..etc have their own custom user interfaces. Why dont you just google htc sense and read all about it. :)

1.Does the phone heat up after heavy usage???
2.How is the battery backup ?? will i be able to use at least for one day???
3.And personally how is your experience with the device(users)..is it recommended,,
should i buy it or not..

will some one do me a favour? i have had the sensation for about 6-8 months now, i love the phone an all it does. but i havnt got a clue about "SENSE" what it is or what it does! every one on the page always goes on about it, can some one please tell me?

-the battery is awful , the battery rezist maxim 10 hours with normal-heavy usage, the construction of the phone is 9+ far away from S2 i9100, and with ICS rom with beats audio and 1,5ghz procesor(overclock) , is a beast.http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1466917, and the phone have a bi problem she randoms reboots!!!
