i love the phone...itz really awsome... but as many have said the battery could have been better... moderate-hevy use around 9hrs most..i charge twice per day.

I recently bought a SGS2 and i can't wait to GET RID OF IT. That SGS2 is not user frendly i can't even save contact on SIM card. Come on that is basic of the phone, and it doesn't have the flaslight program so i had to download it and it isn't in three steps like here... ... ... .
Lets put this behind and focus on this one.
My wife has one and comparing to SGS2 is a beast.
So many shortcuts and stuff to do with it,
its just awesome.
It's much more user frendly.
I am going to exchange it (SGS2) with
HTC Sensation and i can't wait.
Oh yeah. And the battery life on SGS2
up to 610h (3G) and up to 8h-40min (3G).
Year right, maybe if i put it to sleep for a long time.

bought it few weeks ago, awesome phone, plays 1080p FLAWLESS, no lag, battery could last longer, i think i will order another one, overall this phone is SENSATION!:)

Used sense roms from last 3 months in hope that cyanogen will officially support sensation after some time...used to get a battery life of about 9 hrs after moderate use, but now shifted to hypersensation mod[cyanogen based]..
Today got 5% drop in 3 hours after heavy use....awesome...now thats sensation

I have disabled all effects and animations on the display, yet it takes 95% of memory. HTC Sensation is the worst HTC phone I have ever owned. I can't use any of its features, i.e. wi-fi, bluetooth, GPS, email or facebook, because the battery will die. Am forever begging people to plug into their wall socket. Have to take my power lead and plug with me always. And to top it off HTC offered to "repair" it - when it was less than a week old, with a "you will pay if we find nothing wrong with it'. Wake up HTC, where is your support? You stand by your faulty product? Read the reviews, HTC!!

It has so much stuff going on in the background too. It has all the heavy 3D efects in it. Sense always fills the phones memory. Without sense I have managed to get nearly double batterylife out of my phone.

in htc devices we always see the battery draining and u know why ? cuz htc always use qualcomm chipset

according to omap team : look here and then buy htc phone with this poor chipset !
there are no public benchmarks available at this time. However, we can say that the performance + power balance of the OMAP4460 exceeds that of competitors, similar to how its predecessors do on devices today. For example, we see today that Qualcomm’s MSM8260 graphics performance enables about 75 percent of what OMAP4430 processors can enable. Qualcomm claims a 1.5x performance improvement for the MSM8960 Adreno225, the resulting performance will land between that of OMAP4430 and the OMAP4470 capabilities. TI will still lead with the graphics performance of the OMAP4460 and OMAP4470 offerings.
