There may be something new that u might have installed or not properly closed that may have resulted in high battery consumption and failure in shutting down the app (may be it is accessing the edge/3g as well) so phone heats up and when it crosses the max limit of processor temperature it shuts down..as simple as that..

Have the phone for three months now and I think its incredible. Beats iPhone and any other of the android phones on the market in my opinion...really love the capabilities with it. Great interface too

I like HTC sensation in term of speed and storage..
Pros
Speed, storage, UI, responsiveness
Cons
Power consumption. Battery only last for 1~2 days.
Overall
Excellent phone... :)

Anonymous, 01 Nov 2011My sensation keeps rebooting several times a day, htc white... moreHey, not sure if u got this problem fixed already but I had the same exact problem. Tmobile support didn't help me BUT one of their store employees did and he called HTC themselves. Basically u just need to master reset it. I know its a pain but mines hasn't done that ever since.

someone!can you help me to understand why my HTC sensation restarts often? sometimes it doesn't switched on for until i take out/in the battery, meantime the handset gets to be very hot like heater.
