hey hoot! Phone looks and sound are awesome, but still its not perfect with beats audio, you have to tweak it with some apps. here you can find some tweaks and app for sensation XE, http://computersight.com/computers/htc-sensation-xe-with-dr-dre-beats-enhancement/
I would prefer you to buy this phone, but still I vote its audio quality.

any rock/metal fans owning XE?!
How does it sound playing ROCK sort of music?! i've heard it works good for hip-hop ...but how about rock?

android fanatic, 05 Dec 2011I have used and owned both phones and i must say both are g... morethanks for ur help ...really appreciate it.
the only thing i'm worried bout are the benchmarks...i don't want a phone that works fine for a few months and then starts having performance issues.i was using a samsung jet S8000 previously ,the phone's software worked fine for about an year but then it started having hardware issues and i landed up spend bout 250$ for the repair works.another reason i don't wanna go with samsung.

Problem Solved. I'd rather set it to "WCDMA Preferred" though, Some areas may not have 3G coverage.

It depends on what you want from your phone really. Although i do find myself going back to htc always ü its something with their user interface that keeps me coming back ü
One bit though, if you are into movie watching ... I would go for the SGS2 ü
The beats earphones included do make a difference but not that much in my opinion ü
The red glow of the capacitive keys and red accents is indeed a head turner ü

I charge... moreI charge my htc sensation xe once every 22hrs ü although i achieved this by installing a custom rom to tweak the processor speed and memory allocation. This is through moderate and heavy usage like long calls, emails, web browsing thru wifi and 3g, and texting.
You will be charging almost two to three times a day by using htc's standard built-in rom because stock rom clocks at 1:5ghz and it is dual core so that really drains battery ü

da best phn ever had smooth touch best sound quality and i cant understand y ppl talk abt da brty back up and stuff just see da kind of grapics u r using they dnt gv big capcity btry becz they heat up badly.....

i'm crazy bout the sensation and specially the beats ... i was just bout to but it till i compared the benchmarks of sensation xe and galaxy s2 .they differ a lot....does these bench marks really matter in the long run? , i won't change my phone for another 2-3 years....

to all htc sensation xe user, this phone is so great and fantastic. battery problem? dowload to android market the battery saver and juice defender. always go to setting and kill all task. to save more battery. my battery will last for 2days. my little prob is when using game like defender is gettng hot. its bcoz of processor. no exhaust fun like laptop thats why is getting hot. i been using this phone for 1month.

Cross, 03 Dec 2011hi guys .. when i open FB on my htc sensation xe.. i get th... moreMy FB on the XE sucks as well, doesn't load or keeps on loading forever... so as with my Samsung GS2. I don't think it has anything to do with the phone but the app itself sucks. I stopped using it and just used FriendStream instead and it works just as fine.

Has anyone tried an extended battery for XE? I found 3600mah and 1950mah for it and I'm not sure which one to pick. 1950mah seems to come without an additional backdoor...http://www.mugen-power-batteries.com/htc/htc-sensation-xe.html
