Chyly, 09 Nov 2011XE and XL which one is better?Hi!
The Sensation XL is too big! If you want a gigantic, cool looking phone without a memory card slot, then buy the XL. If you want a little bit smaller phone, which can support even Micro SDXC card up to 64 GB, buy the Sensation XE.

AnonD-16816, 08 Nov 2011@gundamzhen.. oh i see.. thanks a lot.. but is it true? tha... moreAs I replied to others before you - go ahead and buy this if the deathgrip concern is your only concern. Unless you try hard to replicate it, you probably won't get the deathgrip issue. You have to PRESS the casing, not hold it as per casual use. At least, that's what my model's like.

golhungas, 09 Nov 2011and the sound speekers is loud? Yes - speaker is loud enough but a bit distoreted sometimes - not ideal if you want to hear good music. Better equip some standalone speakers or use the provided headphones. If you mean for calls, I'm guessing this distortion issue won't be a factor at all, given that voice is generally mid-frequencies and I noticed distortions mainly on bass sounds (low frequencies).

Rishinkk, 09 Nov 2011768 MB RAM and 1 GB of app storage?
can i install apps aft... moreFirst off - I tested the 'death grip' wi-fi issue myself and the signal DOES decrease, however only if you press hard and long - normal hold strength won't have a visible effect. Even speedtest app confirmed that my wi-fi speed was still fast despite the deathgrip and the visibly lower reception bars.
As regards GSM deathgrip, the same applies - you have to be PRESSING the casing, not holding it and that makes a BIG difference to me. If you have to PRESS your phone to hold it, then maybe death-grip is the least of your problems...
As regards storage, you're typically provided with a 16 or 8Gb microSD card when buying this phone, mine had 16Gb - whenever you install apps that CAN be moved to SD, just move them over there to save onboard space.
RAM doesn't seem to be a problem so far - but I've only had it for one day so can't tell much about that. Still, 768 is a good enough amount I'm guessing, though 1Gb would have been more appreciated.
All in all, this is a fantastic phone and the sound does come out loud and great - loved it myself, though this might be an acquired taste and not for everyone.
If you're torn between normal Sensation and this one, I'd buy this one - the bigger battery, faster CPU and typically larger SD card plus beats-headphones and software more than makes up what would typically be around 100 Euro premium.
Just my 2 cents anyway!!

AnonD-16816, 08 Nov 2011@gundamzhen.. oh i see.. thanks a lot.. but is it true? tha... moreHmmm well this site(gsmarena) mentioned it has this problem. But most of the phone site. Example
http://www.engadget.com/2011/10/13/htc-sensation-xe-with-beats-audio-review/
just right above the Processor, they mentioned this
"We should also mention that no matter how we held the device, we failed to encounter any of the so-called "death grip" issues that people complained about with the first Sensation."
Actually it's not so big of a deal. Just BUY IT and ENJOY IT.

AnonD-16816, 08 Nov 2011what do you mean by death grip? kndly explain it to me.plsIt's like you are holding the phone tight and cover most of the phone circumference, it will experience some sort of weak connections and causes it to drop calls.

5 days ago got mine.
And for the first time posting my comment on gsm arena. For the people who thinks about buying it and for the people who is looking for its problems all the time. Previously used Nokia N97, Sony ericsson Vivaz and Sony ericsson Xperia X10. Also had my hands on i-phone 3GS and Samsung GS II though didnt use them.
Display: Amzing..didnt feel its bad in sunlight. some people may find SGS II display better but i felt its only brighter not better i'll say.
Camera: Good, i'll not say amazing. But same as X10 or SGS II (though SGS II has better flash i think).
Video: Very good.
Music: MOST AMAZING EVEN BETTER THAN i-POD. Beats audio is gonna blow ur mind away. Coolest part of the device.
Design: Very good. looks so cool, better than any phone i've ever seen. For sure better than SGS II.
Touch: Very smooth. My friend has I-phnoe4. He said my Sensation XE feels even better.
Battery: Not satisfactory. On heavy use like playing games n using internet it may last for 15 hours as u charge it once. Some people may find it annoying, i do sometimes too.
Over all: Amazing phone..no death grip issues so far i've experienced. So if someone wants to go for it this will help i guess :)
