Anthony1985, 22 Sep 2011Question : How does one root a phone? i know, newbie qu... moreWell it depends.. The method for each device nowadays is different. If you're interested in rooting an HTC/Motorola/Samsung device, head over to XDA Developers, they will be able to break it down for you in detail. A lot of reading is a pre-requisite. Its unavoidable..

The Sensation and the Sensation XE have chipsets that are very similar if not identical in design (i.e they're part of the same chipset family so they all have the same potential other than the speeds they're clocked at).
What it means is that you'll probably be able to "overclock" you're current Sensation to 1.5Ghz with no worrries (it wont even overheat).
They're already Beats enabled ROM's floating around.
Combine those two aspects (Beats Enabled ROM & safe overclock)and you essentially have a Sensation XE.. Literally..

No flash support, no NFC support, still under 1gb of ram, still low internal capacity. I guess this is not enough for me.

In Singapore, HTC phones' prices are reasonable. S2 is over S$800. Singapore HTC have courier service too! :D

As long htc device is expensive ,htc will be gone out of business, here in phils, htc no service depot, and its expensive, htc should think thier client first, or market share, htc should lower thier mobile device for market to penetrate.
