htc sensation xe is a good product,but battery is disappoint me,phone have great features and look,so i think overall it is good product

I really had a bad experience with this phone! I've been to the service center for 8 times! each time it took them almost a month to return back the phone. image 8 months without a phone. Their call center sucks! Promise to call back but no one care to call back. This come from their manager! After much complain I requested for a different model, they said my phone value is already drop and only can give me a lower model (they call it upgrade. I told them thats DOWNGRADE!). Image that! I was furious! I was adamant and manage to get a better model. I'm selling that & Trust me this will be the LAST TIME I'LL WILL EVER USE HTC PRODUCT!

I got a sensation xe 6 weeks ago.
I would recommend this phone.
1. The camera is very good - a lot of cameras on smart phones are garbage. Don't ignore this point. Having a good camera is worth a lot in my opinion.
2. The processor is very good also. If you don't want to pay for a top of the line phone with 4 cores (which is a waste of money if you aren't either running a business with your phone or overly wealthy), then this is about the best processor you will get for a non top-of-the-line price (it is less than half of those phones).
3. The hardware build looks very solid. It even feels like its a very well built phone when you see it
4. The audio with beats is good
5. The display is great too
6. Price now is that of the newer budget phones, but the quality is higher
Overall very good
The downsides are:
1. Battery life is meh, but they are on most phones.
To improve it, use an app like 'llama' or 'automateit' to automatically change settings for you, such as auto turn brightness down to 30% when at home and up to 100% when out, have sync turned off by default and every half hour automatically have it turned on for 2 minutes. you should also root it to change processor governor, and ROM maybe to change other settings (I am very happy with ARHD 6.8.0). With all that, I need to recharge every 36 hours but I don't use it heavily. you probably will need to charge every night - or during the day also if you use it a lot - basically like other phones like s2, etc
2. Yes HTC seems to not care about upgrading the JB. it is a bummer for sure
Honestly though, this phone is so nice on my rooted ICS HTC Sense rom (ARHD), that I would still choose it again even with these 2 downsides. But of course it is best to know of these 2 downsides before you purchase it.
I think you will need to pay a lot more money to get a phone of this quality.

i bought htc sensation xe more then a month ago and the battery already drop real fast within 2 weeks of rare usage and it took 5 hours to charge it !!!!!!! i took the phone to the htc service center and it took 2 weeks to repair it but when i recharge the battery it still need 5 hours or more to get it full !!!!!!!!so DONT BUY HTC PRODUCTS AND THE SERVICE CENTER IS SUC!!!!!!! the problem is i couldnt return the phone and get my money back!!! in indonesia suc

Scientist , 15 Feb 2013thank you guys; for your comments; you know what? first i w... moreFirstly,why u keep comparing their ram and software ??If u wan your sensation on jb,u can just go root your phone...Besides that , sensation xe has a 8 mp camera , 4.3 inch display ( higher ppi density) , 1.5 GHz dual core ,beats audio technology , 1750 mah battery ...All these specs already own s3 mini ...if u really wan JB AND 1GB RAM , xperia ion have it + a 12mp camera and their price almost the same ... lastly, who is ' they' ? Samsung's CEO ? did Samsung said s3 mini will have a better future?? Absolutely NO !

To rest your mobile power off your mobile and remove your battery for few second than press and hold volume down button than power on your mobile keep volume button hold down until you go to boot option from there you can find. also search in Google how to reset sensation xe you get help from there also

thank you guys; for your comments; you know what? first i wanted to buy HTC Sensation; but some specifications disappointed me; 768MB ram in front of 1GB ram of GSIII mini; Android 4.0.4 in front of Jelly Bean; and they say that the battery drains more quickly than Siii mini; and sIII mini would have a better support in the future; so why you are saying that SIII mini is a waste of money?
