I am about to buy a new phone. I read all forums and comments. I love HTC XE design and SENSE UI. Also i think about Samsung Galaxy SII. One of my friends uses HTC XE and he has many problems about it. So i changed my mind for S2. S2 also have a better performance. Be careful about DEATH GRIP on HTC XE. It is a nightmare. These phones are not cheap by the way.

Got the phone today and had a nice long play around, downloading apps and getting music onto it. Very happy with the performance, battery life seems okay but predictably low with very heavy usage. Lightning fast switching between apps and returning to apps on the page you left them on. A wonderful change from the old iPhone 3g!

Hello guys.....What a fantastic phone for the crazy smart phone lovers. HTC put another great step forward in the mobile phone industry. I owned HTC touch 2 in 2009 and after that owned HTC Desire HD in 2011. Now im using HTC sensation XE which gives more worth for my money.

Guy Incognito , 07 Jan 2012Have had 2 htc xe's love them when they work brillant phone... moreI should listened to you pal,before i bought this SENSATION XE last thursday,i read this comment of yours,now,the dealer just replace my unit for the same problem of yours,"AUTOMATIC SHUT DOWN"...It can't be opened,i almost did everything,pulling out batteries etc..,but went for nothing...Now i'm using the 2nd unit,hoping it will not happen again that shit shutdown...Lucky me,by the way,i bought my XE in SM Manila,Philippines,sad experience,for it is my 1st time to use HTC:(

My cousin told me Nexus is better because it's has 16GB built in memory, but XE only 4GB(after original apps install in, it's left 1GB free available for user. That is why it comes with 1 free 8GB sd card.)
Besides, although we can change higher GB card, my cousin said we cannot move full version of the additional new apps or any file from internal memory to SD card. Ex : a file needs 1.2GB, it will becomes half in internal memory and half in the sd card. Please help me answer this.
I always travel to oversea. I hope my phone can edit words & excel & email, movie, taking photo.Does XE have these function? I heard Iphone 4s only can read words but cannot edit.

I have both this phone and Sensation XL, this one is of course better but the XL is kinda cooler to me.

Both the phones feel very differently when it is in your hands. If you are using it for normal usage, I would recommend Sensation XE. It has lesser problems than Samsung. Try experiencing its Sense UI which other phones aren't able to provide.

The OS in the XE is android 2.3.4 but it comes with the HTC SENSE 3.0 UI, the sense UI is awesome and full of customization. In terms of OS / UI i think that there is no superior phone between both devices.. it depends on what u like..
The XE has a louder speaker than the nexus, and it comes with Beats headphones and Beats Technology has been integrated inside of it, so when it comes to music, the XE is the winner..
When it comes to the display, the nexus wins with it's SuperAmoled HD display (the XE packs a SuperLCD qHD display).
I'ts all a matter of taste :) you decide..

i do have S2 , iPhone4s and HTC SEN XE, S2 still the best among the rest. Never been experience technical issue with S2, i think HTC and Apple are hot because of the brand, but for the technical side,, S2 is still the best.

Have had 2 htc xe's love them when they work brillant phone but the 1st justed powered off and the 2nd exchanged unit just froze wont go past the htc home screen and even when i perform a hardware reboot nothing. waiting on my 3rd exchange hope it works or else its a galaxy2 il be using. ANYONE ELSE HAVE THE SAME ISSUE???
