when is his coming soon will eventually happen. I hate this coming soon. I think they should either announce when things are up in the market, or if it is in a matter of weeks. Like Nokia for example. I hate this coming soon that has been posted here for the past 4 months. as if they are failing to change it from idea to reality.. ...

Nice, finally a phone that doesn't force you to focus on that tiny screen or scroll up and down or left and right to read yout documents. I'm waiting patiently for this one. (Iphone? Love it but gotta leave it.)

Its not a comment rather its a questionare session,
the first thing that i would like to know about the battery support timing and its market value.
Can you please suggest about some more palmtops with better configurations like GPS and HDD capacity.

Well its missing a GPS !!!
i mean it got evrything why dont we throw in jsut more for the expectation, a GPS and Satelite radio. im sure you can get both of them as in a usb....

Shift has Vista Business and WM 6 as well... little button on the left of the screen towards the bottom switches interface.

ovidiu: doesnt hugo say hes reviewing the shift in that video that came out a couple weeks ago? i swear he did but if i'm wrong when does that guy come out? and do you think an os wipe is possible?

for Giovanni: htc shift and htc x9500 ARE NOT THE SAME. HTC X9500 will have 2 operating sistems, windows vista and Windows mobile professional 6

A Very Nice Phone. When can will this be available. My only comment is on its OS. Vista is known to use a lot of memory space. Can there be an option to change its OS once it is available

hey cybericebyte unfortunately listening to hugos video of it online he said it didnt have phone calling capabilities but hopefully either hes wrong or you're not looking for calling in phone capabilities, also does anyone think that you will be able to wipe vista and install xp pro instead? any thoughts would be appreciated

First of all the HTC shift and the HTC x9500 (Shangri-La) all one in the same second of all the HTC omni is windows mobile and not a full OS like XP or VISTA or even win 95 that’s one reason for the size second the screen is 7in wide screen and the keyboard is made for touch typing the comparison your trying to make is like comparing a Hugo to a Jaguar the omni is out of it's League when trying to compare to the SHIFT.
btw sign me up I want one and have already pre-ordered on if you want to know where to get it just let me know I'd rather have a UMPC and phone rolled into one little gadget than carry a laptop/notebook computer plus a phone.

gsmarena, please pay attention to htc omni also! Give us some info and evaluation ASAP! Can't see why this not can be done. There are many of us waiting for info about htc OMNI on your good site!

Shame gsmarena doesnt show the HTC omni which looks really nice if you ask me and might actually be able to fit in your pocket unlike this device
