HTC Smart originally purchased on 15/05/10 from Silicon Telepoint, CR Avenue, Kol
I started facing problem such as poor battery, SD card not readable at most of times.
Mobile replaced on 07/06/10 by Vendor but vendor issued me Invocie with 15/05/10 as date.
Again in new replaced mobile follwing problems are faced:
a) SD card not readable at most of times.
b) Photo taken from camera could not be open.
Frrom last 1 month i am not been able to use my mobile. I want my money refunded.

PL2, 15 Oct 2010A wonderful phone by HTC. I love the design very much.Hi PL2, have u ever used this phone ? I can say with comfidence that u have not yet touched the phone, only saw in picture.
The looks are not only the criteria. The capability and durability are most important factors. The HTC Smart is the worst phone, inferior to Chinese phone. (i)The battery is poor. U have to charge it all day long to receive calls or to send messages. ((ii) It freezes. U will have to open the back panel to pull out the battery any time of the day. (iii) It has no wi-fi. (iv)Browsing is too much slow.
It is not so cheap relating to it's performance. Nokia 5230, 5235, 5530 are the better phones within same price range.

Cant believe someone said "GO FOR"it..Problems are just adding up with my new phone. Phone doesnt read ur memory card..have to switch off and switch it on..Batt back-up is low.Cant find a single app out there on the web that my phone can install and run..
It is disappointing.DONT GO FOR IT...

I bought my HTC SMART 2-days ago... the phone appears to be brilliant on the first look... touch response, music, camera etc. But I'm getting very poor battery backup... For example, at 9 a.m I charged it to 100% & when I check it after 2 hours, it was 50% and I had not even used the phone. If it is kept idle, the battery goes exhausted.

I am a disgruntled customer. It is my regular duty to charge the battery thrice in a day !!! During conversation over phone, it goes hanged and begins to reboot !!! Imagine, what is going on !!!

It hangs frequently.
I purchased this phone seven days ago. I am repentant to buy this worthless phone.

I charged the phone at 10 p.m. and went to sleep. There were no calls during night. In the next mornig I found the battery fully exhausted.
It hangs frequently and I have to take out the battery and again to switch on.
The phone begins to restart now and then.
I feel annoyed with such a terrible phone.

I bought this mobile 2 months ago. The first piece I got just wold not allow me to dial out. It would dial and cut off within a second. The dealer immediately changed the piece with a new one. While it looks and feels fine the battery life is terrible. Sometimes in 3 hours time with hardly any usage the battery is low. Also there are no applications for this phone since the operating system is Brew and it's new. SO it's quite a bore. Very hard to go to the number or person you want to call since you take time scrolling and the search function does not help. The camera is great but has no zoom function. No shop in Colombo, Sri Lanka was willing to buy back the phone from me even though it was not even opened and still sealed. On the whole I am very disappointed with HTC Smart... it's not the smartest mobile around.

I am fade up with it's battery. Too much worst kind of battery. I suggest not to buy such a disturbing phone.

There's no phone no. mentioned in their bill, odrwise I wud hav forwarded dat 2 u :)

From gsmarena and all other websites, I knew that the talktime is 7.5 hours (2g). But I got worst kind of battery back up. Everyday I have to charge the battery though I do not listen music or do not take pix or connect to internet. I am fully dissatified with the performance of battery. I wrote to HTC. They answered me that the talktime is only 4 hours !!! HTC is cheating to the customers.
